The same could be said of you.

When's the re-make of "A Nightmare on Elm Street" out again?

It already did come out and it sucked royally
Note-to-self: In the future, take Jon's word for it.

That movie SUCKED! I will never get those 90 minutes back. <_<

I just saw A Tale of Two Sisters which was a pretty good South Korean horror flick. It's what The Uninvited was based off of (except this was good)

I'm like halfway through it on Netflix, I have to finish watching it. I ran out of time the other night.

I wish Instant watch could give us some dubbed English. Most the time I like to multi task while watching a movie. Foreign flicks need my undivided attention. It's not like I am watching horror movies for the acting, per se.

I prefer subtitles because in most cases the dubbing is awful
What's the worse is when you watch dubbing with the subtitles. And they never seem to match. I find myself paying more attention to that then the movie.

Just watched a youtube trailer of it and I was a little freaked! You can't fight back? What do you do??

From what I saw, he just hid behind a door and was running [poo]less away from every noise/shadow

Lost track of this topic! Kept thinking it was under video games

Well, you take the role of a Daniel, a man who, for unknown reasons, has amnesia. You spend your time walking through hallways in a really creepy Castle-like structure, trying to find out what the hell is going on, and why you are here in the first place. There are flashbacks (while informative, still placed at pretty edgy inconvenient times :o ) and notes/diaries throughout the levels, in which you really can't get lost or stuck.

It is a puzzle solving game with a scary story that gives a great effect because video games make you feel in control. The only thing is...with this game you really aren't lol (survival is the objective).

The developers advise the player to play at night with no lights on, and to imagine that you are really Daniel. It works really well; some people cant even finish playing 15 minutes of the first level. I haven't played for a while but I'm going to get back into it tonight, I get thrilled off of being scared half to death haha.

Anyone see Rampage by .. Uwe Boll? more of a thriller, but damn that was disturbing.
I started watching the first 15 minutes twice, but I have yet to venture on.

I brought that up in another thread recently. I liked i. The beauty salon scene was a jaw dropper.

Uwe Boll = worst director ever

Jon fancies himself a horror flick expert and #1 critic.

Watched Eden Lake last night, anyone seen it?

It's one of those frustrating movies from start to finish. Frustrating in terms of it keeps you edgy all the way through. Not a pure horror movie, more of something from the slasher type genre.
