Its official, i'll be wear'n number 94!!! ima sit out some games but look for ya boy on that field sometime next month!! King Serg
Funny how he flips from 49 to 94, but the fact that he is coming back sometime next month is REALLY surprising, considering that he was expected to be out the year. This obviously made Antwan Barnes expendable, and I can't wait until he is back

This could've definitely been one of many factors in the decision to trade Antwan Barnes. However, all things considered, Kindle must recognize that he still has a lot of catching up to do. He'll be able to get by on his athleticism for much of the season, but he'll need to really do some film study in order to be the caliber of player of which he's expected.

Hopefully we'll have a full story about this soon.
It looks like Kindle will be back sooner than thought.
Will he be on the PUP? We'll have to wait and see.
It's good to know he can respond so quickly after such a horrible injury.
Can't wait to see him play!

Good to hear his recovery is going well and he is actually going to sign with the Ravens.

He has such great talent, hope he capitalizes upon it.

YES the baltimore version of demarcus ware!
He needs to develop some pass rush moves before being compared to that guy

I hope that he studied his playbook well

does this mean he signed or is it coming soon?
He's probably going to be signed soon

That means his signing his probably imminent. He can't see the field until he's under contract.

Not sure he will be able to see the field with the knot on his head-how is keeping him better than keeping Barnes and dealing Kindle? I'm sure we could have done much better with a Kindle trade!

The thing is, does he mean back on the field practicing or actually playing on the field come game day?
I assume we'll find out tomorrow.

The Ravens can't trade a player who's technically not under contract; they just merely hold the rights to negotiate his contract. All they could do is waive those rights and allow him to become a free agent, or retain those rights and he sits at home unsigned for a year until he's eligible for free agency or the draft again next year.

Barnes is gone. It is what it is. The team will move forward. It's not as if Antwan Barnes was the second coming of Lawrence Taylor.

I hope he's at least able to workout now (run, lift weights, etc.)

A month should be enough for him to be good to get himself conditioned and maybe a bit stronger. He has the natural athletic ability which should make up for a lot. Honestly I want the coaches to drill technique, pass rush moves, and the playbook into his recovering head for the next month.

EDIT: I like the #49 better but ok...#94 works :P

I know it doesn't matter but I think he should wear #50.

I'm liking 94 better personally

I hope this deal gets done and he is ready to go. He still has a lot of catching up to do.

I hope you feel great Kindle. Looking forward to seeing you in a Ravens Uni.

Kindle's ceiling is about 10 times what Barnes ceiling is. Plus the team knows what Barnes can do, an undersized 3-4OLB with a speed rush. Kindle has the potential to be a matchup nightmare for RTs in this league, and especially in our division. Trading Kindle and keeping Barnes would be the most backwards front office move in a long long time.

Man I'm so pumped to see what Kindle can do for us. Hopefully by week 10 he's seeing some snaps. I just hope he comes back 100% and ready to dominate.

Ehh, not too sure about that one. Combine #s comparison time!!!

Kindle
Height: 6'3
Weight: 251
40: 4.65
Bench: 25 reps
Broad jump: 9'10

Barnes
Height: 6'1
Weight: 240
40: 4.43
Bench: 31
Broad jump: 10'2

As you can see here, Barnes as superior numbers over Kindle, and 6'1 is not short at all for a DE/OLB, its pretty average, so saying Kindle's upside is 10x better, is a bit skewed

I'm not believing the hype on Kindle-I watched this guy in several Texas games over the last couple years and can't see where he ever looked dominating. He has some speed but why would anyone compare him to Demarcus Ware- and he is defintely not on the Suggs level. Maybe for a 3rd down situation level-but I don't see him ever starting a game at LB. Am I missing something?

Quite possibly. Either you're blind or you need to watch more Longhorns football.

Right back at ya bud, tbh, I thought the same thing of Kindle. He had no pass rush moves (only bull and speed), and I didn't see him make too many plays when he should be dominating more, but he is really athletic and has some upside, and I hope the coaches develop him into something special

He does have some upside-his speed is amazing. Time will tell! Just keep him away from the stadium steps and he should be good to go!

I'm not your "bud" and I wasn't addressing you, but okay. Kiper and McShay touted him as arguably the best pass rusher in the draft...he only fell in the draft due to character concerns and knee issues and was projected to be a mid first round pick. I'll be one of the first to admit that projections amount to nothing a good bit of the time, but I liked what I saw from Kindle in college. He showed the versatility to play both LB and DE and really opened things up for Brian Orakpo when he was playing LB two years ago. He could open plays up for Suggs in the same way or vice-versa.

That's just my opinion, but I'll take Kiper and McShay's evaluation of Kindle over yours or mine any day.
