I love that they kept Harewood and Cundiff...I also called Miller and Fisher being cut. Gotta trim the fat, some of those guys will make PS...

Reed is going on PUP, well if he does, Hamlin will stay but he better start playing like a Raven. This isn't Dallas boy, we don't take plays off.

And LOL to anyone who thought Ellerbe was getting cut for his little stunt he may be the best young LB we have. He stays.

Interesting. What position would we trade for or just picks?

I think we are pretty solid with Cornerback honestly given the time frames of when Webb and Carr will be ready.

Something told me Miller and Fisher would be cut. I thought Fisher at first but something was tugging at me saying he would.

My 53 man roster has been shot to you know what. I expected Miller to make it for his return skills. I guess his muffed return hurt him along with poor corner play. I had Reed going to the practice squad. I did pick Cundiff over Graham. I also knew Harewood would make it. Nothing but good things to come from him.

Im glad they kept Cundiff. Always liked the guy after he helped salvage what that steve guy left us with last year. Solid kicker, and knows the team. I was happy to see him make the team.

I really wanted Prince Miller to make the team, but I suppose that the CB depth chart is a bit crowded.

Domonique Foxworth (IR), Josh Wilson, Lardarius Webb, Fabian Washington, and Chris Carr alone make five (even though Foxworth doesn't count against the roster), and that's in addition to the likelihood of Cary Williams being retained, and the excess number of players already being carried at other positions.

There's a decent chance that Miller gets re-signed at some point or placed on the practice squad, assuming that another team doesn't swoop in and grab him.

Yeah, neither Smith exactly lit it up this preseason. Sure, Troy Smith had a handful of good plays, but also a plethora of questionable ones. Marcus Smith, meanwhile, made some nice plays but was largely invisible when running routes.

Agreed, I think they also need that additional roster spot due to those that are injured and cant be placed on the pup.

He looked pretty good for a rookie against the Rams starters. Nothing to get over excited about but definately a good depth player with alot to gain by being on the Ravens.

The Troy Smith quandry all comes down to whether they think they really need him over another player at another position that can play special teams or other positions as needed. It's decisions like this that provide more vindication as to the front office's preference for special teams versatility alongside skill at any set position.

Same here. But, I never expected him to make an immediate impact anyway. Too many guys in front of him. Not just starters in Haloti Ngata and Kelly Gregg and the situational rotation of Trevor Pryce and Cory Redding, but also Terrance Cody and Brandon McKinney and Kelly Talavou Lamar Divens. Regardless of whether McKinney, Divens, or Talavou make the roster, there's still a lot of guys who'll see snaps before Jones.

Well so far i'm on point with my roster, only thing that i'm monitoring is troy smith rumors. I took a chance cutting prince and it paid off, although i was kinda routing for him. had harwood and david reed both making the team, as well as cundiff, i think what set him apart was his kickoff placement and depth.
