Colts Cut Adam Terry - Now With Chargers

22 posts in this topic

He had to be cut for a reason... Terry was actually pretty decent when healthy, so I wouldn't be opposed to bringing him back, but who are you going to keep off the 53 to keep him?... idk..

I say we do sign him and then stash Harewood to IR or something
People have been joking about Harewood coming down with a magical injury, not a bad idea.

Speaking of the roster, it makes me wonder what will happen to Kindle. It seems apparent they will sign him, but would that land him on the PUP or IR, or do they hold a spot for him if he can go say, week 3?
I don't know how it works with signing someone after the roster is turned in.
If anyone knows how that works, please let me know. I didn't want to start a topic about that.

It does? I thought it seemed apparent they WON'T sign him. I was under the impression with a cracked skull, he's better off not playing football ever again...

If he's healthy, he could add some depth to our T's.
We did draft him in the 2nd round in 2005.

I don't think O'neil Cousins is nearly as bad as most people claim. But since a lot of people do... I don't see why they'd be opposed to Terry filling in.

I know, I'm just saying I've heard other people predict that will happen, and as far as I know Harewood is fine, but it's been said that he'll come down with a magical or mysterious injury so we can keep him on IR.

@edreedfromtheu - Are you joking? I've only heard that the Ravens are expected to sign Kindle after he comes here for a physical/evaluation. There have been articles, even on this site, that have mentioned he may be ahead of schedule, and if you follow his Tweets, he seems sick of waiting around and just wants to get this done. He's been counting the days down until he comes here to be checked out.
As far as Oniel Cousins, I think he's alright, I also think Moll did a good job filling in.
The Ravens know Adam Terry very well, and if he is healthy, I think it makes sense they take him just for depth.
As for Kindle, they are going to sign him, I assume you're being sarcastic.

I think it could be a good move considering how exposed our O-line has looked depth wise. I just hope Terry can stay healthy. I'd hate to sign him and replace a guy like Harewood only to be lost for the season when we could have had a healthy Ramon who got picked up by some one else.

Edit: Honestly, I'd prefer a guy like Ramon Harewood anyway. He has an enormous amount of potential and has looked pretty good at times considering how little football he has played. Give that incredible mind of his time to soak up the game and he might be a valuable contributor in a year or two.

How soon we forget. Wasn't Adam Terry the most "hated" member of our OL when he was here? IF (and that's a big IF) our front office decided to pick him up for depth, I can't see it happening until after week 1.

Terry couldn't play right tackle when he was here. He was decent at the left side, but I don't think there's any chance of him playing there for us. Unless he's learned how to play the right side, I wouldn't consider it.

You're almost as pessimistic as ravenight.

I don't see why we'd want him back.

Not to derail the thread... but Kelley Washington was just cut by the Eagles. Same question - would the FO consider bringing him back?

Somewhat doubtful. There's no need for him.

<No personal attacks> plenty of people have cracked their skulls and walked away and been fine. You should do some research a fracture isnt a big deal dude....if he had busted his skull wide open then thats a different story. The doctors have checked him out and as long as there is no brain damage everything is a GO!

Adam Terry has just signed with the San Diego Chargers, per Jason La Canfora.
