No, either Reed or Smith is getting waived
Exactly. Probably Reed, due to Smith's special teamery.

Agreed, I think TJ knocks out Smith...Reed is a different type of player than those two.

rivalry restored have a nice season warden who you got covering our corps now ? might want to get some non penalty causers cause Clark might be suspended by week 6
You know better than to count your chickens with us Buddy. I am not concerned about your offense. I am MILDLY concerned about our week 4 match-up based on our QB issue, but that's about it.

The WR depth chart will now be:

WR 1 Boldin
WR 2 Mason
WR 3 Houshmandzadeh
WR 4 Clayton

And it will be that way starting with Game 1
Not necessarily; I don't think Houshmandzadeh would be immediately bumped up to #3 without learning the playbook first. Clayton's been extremely effective in the slot, so he might as well keep his #3 job until teams start figuring him out or he starts underperforming.

Good deal.

we got him for 50k less then stallworth, same one year deal.
He still gets a solid 6+ million from the Hawks this year (7 mil total)
He gets to play for a super bowl contender. I think he realizes the situation he is in and will give us his best, not demanding the ball.
Just another target to missmatch. Now talk about 5 rec sets... :)

Nice work yet again FO.

Stefan Logan? Because he couldn't both return kicks AND play WR like Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Saunders can.

I really like those two guys, the Steelers did very well to snag them.

I agree. Not to hijack this any further, but I was also very please with keeping Redman: ST's tackler, blocking/Running FB AND motoring RB all in one.

Hmmm. Come to think of it, I don't recall seeing this news on the Steelers site I belong to.

I'll have to trust you on that one.

If there's one thing that could connect us Ravens and Steelers fans, it's Bengals hate. :)
And Patriot and Cowboy hate. Perhaps even a deep loathing for the Browns. lol

Lots of teams generally hate the Pats and Cowboys.

I actually kind of feel for the Browns. They lost their chance to be a good team when Lebron left. He might've just been good enough to save their basketball team AND their football team.

Your not concerned about our offense even a bit?...You guys lost Holmes which is a huge sigh of relief to Ravens fans, but even so Wallace puts some fear in the belly with his big play ability, and Hines will always go for 1000 yards in a season.

I agree nothing is a given between our teams even if you guys are dressing 25 players.

I'm not too worried about him having drama Queen moments, because Boldin and mason will set him str8 quite quickly, and also how can you complain when you are contributing to a Superbowl Calibre football team? He's going to get throws his way, he may not get the playing time to which he is accustomed to but he will have catches and big plays.

I'm sure this has been said before, but I'm anxious to see who we let go as a result. I wouldn't be happy letting go of Smith or Reed. Smith is a great special teams contributor and Reed adds potential and much needed youth to our set of receivers.

The guys behind Wallace give me a lot of confidence. It's not that your WR's aren't to be feared or that you don't have a great RB/FB tandem, I just think our D-Line and LB's (welcoming back Troy and Aaron Smith) gives us a huge boost. Flacco doesn't scare me. We also addressed areas of weakness.

I'm still shocked the Ravens didn't address their secondary.

I wouldn't bank on that. I honestly don't see T.J. being a nuisance but if he does become, no one is going to "set him straight" - he'll simply be cut.

That's my concern as well. I really like both of them, and would hate to lose either of them. Someone mentioned linebackers, but I don't know about that.

Oh well. I guess winning a Superbowl is better than Smith or Reed, anyway. :argdancingravensblueonwkk8:

I don't recall him not being a team player. He just hates the refs (should fit right in here - lol) and the Steelers. He's vocal when he get's frustrated during a game.
