First off, welcome to the board, it's a pleasure. Second, it's hard to take you seriously when your username is "BengalsGirl" but it says you're a male. Third, yea, we said that. We never needed him with Stallworth, but boom, Donte' breaks his foot. He's washed up, maybe, but he had a productive year with the Seahawks for Pete's sake, and he can only contribute here, with a winning team, as the number three. Oh, and as for your "cry baby" allegations, we have a locker room full of Veterans who most of the league fully respects. Not to mention, T.J. came here [i]because[/i] Ray Lewis recruited him. Oh, and we're not even paying him 1,000,000, the Seahawks are doing the dirty work.

i agree with you. Seeing "flacco has no more excusses" is getting old. No more excuses for what? Taking our team to the playoffs his first 2 years, AFC championship in his first? If the meaning is "no more excuses to not win a superbowl", I think there is alot more variables to throw in other than Joe having weapons all around him. Injuries, play calling, the WRs reading the defense the same way joe is and making the appropriate route adjustments, offensive line play. There is so much that goes into it.

Fact is, Joe is good, hes our franchise Qb, and now, he has more weapons than Bmore has ever seen. Either way, hes going to have a successful year and a "legitimate shot at a superbowl".

But everyone should chill with the "no more excusses statement".

Will Do! btw I know you all only paid a little over 800k for him. He will NOT take a #3 spot (I would put money on that) T.J. is known to have a bad attitude....that's why Cincy and Seattle let him go. TJ wasn't recruited....he was C-U-T from the Seahawks and was a free agent....no one else was interested in him. I am not angry with TJ. I am glad he is not a Bengal anymore. We had his best years...then he started to sour (his attitude) I still think he is a great WR esp. at 32. I just found the posts on this forum funny....from one extreme to another. Aparently you areant knowledgable enough to understand NFL contracts, but since he was CUT from the hawks, it was HIS decision where he wanted to go. And he decided to come here, so we sign him to league minimum, and the hawks pick up the tab on the rest (cause he was still under contract). Mind you, Tj had the (decent) production he had with the Seahawks even with a horrible run game, and no receiver opposite him. If your upset cause your "dream team WR corp" is looking mediocre compared to ours, its ok. Fact is, you have a balanced team, so do we, and we'll meet up soon enough.
