Mark Bulger Returning To St. Louis For PS Game 4!

15 posts in this topic

I hope to see Mark Bulger playing a good amount of snaps against his old team. Hope to see him dismantle there defense and show them why they never should have released him. I'm sure he's looking forward to this game to get some sweet revenge :D
How long do you think he will play though? I'm thinking probably the first half since it looks like Harbaugh doesn't even want our starters to get on the field after losing Sallworth last week, and almost losing Clayton as well.

Sounds like none. I just posted in "Wag the Tail" thread that Aaron Wilson twittered that Troy Smith is expected to start and play four quarters against the Rams.

Really?!?!

Dang, that kinda sucks if its true.

How does it suck? Joe and Marc are too valuable to risk getting hurt in the last pre-season game. Plus, if Troy plays well, maybe a team would be willing to part with a late-round draft pick for him.

Ya it seems that the Cards may be looking for a new backup QB with starter potential if Anderson doesn't work out.

I'm not convinced Troy has starter potential but if the team can get anything for him, I'll be happy.

I would be happy if Oz and Co. Traded Smith for a Hot Fresh Apple Pie. They deserve the treat after the Wilson trade they pulled.

Thanks for the info. It would have been cool to see him get some revenge and maybe a Gatorade shower.

After the Rams performance against the Pats, I'm kind of worried about this game... well as worried as one can be about the last game of the fake season.

Considering about none of the real starters will be playing theres not much to be worried about. Obviously I dont want anyone to get hurt but its not like Suggs, Flacco, Rice, Lewis or Ngata will be playing.

I was referring the win/lose part of the game. Their scrubs might be better than Baltmore's. :(

I'm glad we aren't risking any starters but man, this is going to be a boring game and a boring week until the season starts.
[/quote]
It'll be boring if you don't care to see who is going to step up in the secondary, wide receiver, right tackle, etc. Since depth at those positions seem to be a concern not to mention whether Smith can sell himself to another team, or remain on ours. If you enjoy Ravens football you should be into this game. You'll see future Ravens make the team and others lose their spot. To me that is interesting to watch, and see the ones that make it grow in this organization.
If you only watch the Ravens in order to see fireworks and big hits I would question how much you actually are a true Ravens fan. Players are going out there in a Ravens uniform to make the team and do there best to win a game.
If you're a true die hard Ravens fan, this game should be very interesting to watch.

Or they could do like Semi-Pro where Eddie Monix was traded for a washing machine lmao!
