Apparently Cody Had Minor Knee Surgery

Ravensinsider as well as the Sun are reporting that Terrence Cody had minor surgery to repair his lateral meniscus. Harbaugh said it's a two week recovery period.

Still could be back for the Jets game. Something to keep an eye. Knee issues with big guys are always a lingering concern.

That sucks. At least we know why he hasn't been playing. I hope that doesn't become a major issue because I'm really looking forward to watching Cody this season.

Next year, we should not have Training Camp and forfeit all our preseason games. That way we can have a healthy team for once.

No that was Cousins, Cody has been having a problem with his swollen Knee.

The surgery is minimally invasive and just involves cleaning up some tissue.

Damn I was looking forward to watching the Jets even attempt to run the ball on us without Faneca and running into Cody and Ngata and forcing Sanchez to throw 25+ times on us. Our run defense is still top tier...just without Cody we're not ridiculous lol.

From the way Harbaugh stated it, it sounds like he could be back for the Jets game. But in reality, don't hold your breath. It'll probably be against the Bengals.

Really? Against a guy who averaged only 3.3 ypc last year and had NO touchdowns? And let's not forget that "L.T." hasn't had very much success running against us.

Haha that's okay. I just didn't want anyone to be wrongly informed. I understand. Unless he gets cleared by our trainers, I don't want him out there, either. It's just wishful thinking on my part.

When he get's leaner and puts some quality gym weight on that frame of his, he'll probably end up 360lb+

We'll see. I think the coaches want to keep his weight down. The last thing a guy with a knee issue needs is more weight to lug around.
