This thread has been dedicated to his awesomeness.

PS: Keep it PG.

Weezy ... Young Mollah ... Money is the Motive ... No Ceilings ... straight up.

Ight, to set the record straight, the new Wayne is trying too hard. Playing the guitar and stuff, nawww, not working. Stick wit the rhymes.

Is there anyway we can extend his lockup instead?
Indeed. its not like hes in a real Prison or anything. Hes probably sipping on Martinis while sitting on a gold toilet behind Marbel Cell bars.

[Interviewer:]
So "Little Wayne," whats your motivation?

[Lil' Wayne:]
Is that really a question
Do you really have that written down in your notepad
You should be ashamed of yourself
You smell me girl
I smell like money
See, thats what they don't understand
To me it was always get money or die
I come up under Birdman the Number One Stunner
You know what I mean I'm stunner junior thats all I know thats all I ever knew
Get money or get nothing you know what I'm saying
And I feel that way

Because, apparently, being hip-hop's Ralph Wiggum qualifies an artist for legendary status. <_<

The day Lil Wayne stops rapping will be the day I can finally say that I can listen to mixtapes again without hearing another artist copy his formulaic rhyme scheme or imitate him in any other manner that altogether does nothing to improve a song. From his ad-libs to his laugh, Weezy has to be the most overrated artist on the mainstream scene today. That crown would normally go to 50 Cent or Jay-Z, except 50 hasn't been relevant in a year and Jay-Z at least has flashes of his heyday.

More Drake less Weezy.
I like Drake when he's rapping, not singing. His R&B endeavors have been mostly horrible; he can only sing choruses, not full songs. Though he's one of the few artists to use autotune properly (which almost seems like an oxymoron), he uses it like a crutch on his singing-only tracks.

Agreed. He did pretty good on Forever with Kanye, Lil Wayne and Eminem IMO.

PS: Eminem was definitely the best out of the four in that song. He spits those rhymes out like a machine gun.

Yea, I like Drake, but not his "love" songs, which is half his new album. Over, Miss Me, Thank Me Now, Fireworks, Unforgettable, Up All Night, and Fancy were the only ones I really liked.

I like guys like Drake and Kid Cudi because of the sampling/synth work that's going on behind the Rap, but that's just me. Good examples would be Drake's "Forever" and Kid Cudi's "Cudi Zone". Who ever finds Drake's brass samples/loops is a haas.

"Cudi Zone" is probably one of the best songs that I've ever heard.

Definitely. I have Cudi's "Man on the Moon" album and I've probably played "Cudi Zone" twice as much as any other song on it. It's the complete song (In terms of its genre). Kid Cudi working with Kanye West on his (KC) next album has me pretty excited. I just hope he doesn't experiment with rock like Wayne did. Stick to what sells your music.

Cudi's new song "Erase Me", which features Kayne, sounds sorta like a alternate rock song, but it sounds good and I like it.

That's kinda what I was referring to. I like it, but I hope it's not a trend in his second album (which I think I saw somewhere that it wouldn't be...). I much prefer the hip-hop Cudi, not the alternative rock one.

Lil Wayne is garbage plain and simple...they should keep him locked up forever just so the world doesnt have to hear those awful sounds that he calls music. Worst rapper alive.
