Stallworth Breaks Foot

69 posts in this topic

It's heart breaking to hear the news. I'm sure Stallworth was heart broken about it. As soon as he's ready to get back into the game this happens. However, the injury is not season ending. and I'll look forward to seeing him return whenever he does return. He'll be that much more hungry to get back in it. Hopefully the injury doesn't impede his ability to continue workouts.

I'll echo everyone else's thoughts. As good as the passing game looked vs. NY, and with Boldin + Mase + Clayton + Heap + Dickson/Pitta, and the gamebreaking threat of Ray Rice in the open field... this sucks for depth and for Stallworth personally, but it won't hurt the offense much.

If the O plays like last night when it starts to count, opposing D Coordinators are going to lose a LOT of sleep...

I highly doubt this will affect his speed that drastically, I think alot of people on this board have had broken bones and have been fine afterwords. Personally Ive had broken collarbone and the same arm twice, and it never hurt me athletically, in the weight room, nothing. My brother broke the small bone in his leg from below the knee and had screws and a plate put into it and hes still just as fast as he was before. Ran a 6.8 60 yard before and runs a 6.8 60 now. (Baseball times the 60, not the 40 like football and a 6.8 is not slow for a 6'2 205 pound kid)

As long as Boldin doesn't get hurt the Ravens will be fine.

Wait, was that a positive comment?

Really man? Same post in different threads.....forget the fact that you're crazy thinking Harper should be on 53 man roster.
