Kevin Millar Of The Baltimore Orioles Is Predicting A Title For The Orioles

6-1 and in first place atop our division.....the key here is momentum and keeping the "Ball" rolling foward..not backwards......take last season for example......virtually everytime the Orioles had success....seemed like they just lost it and things went down hill from there....and was like for the whole season... a roller coaster ride if you will....... and so i stress again.....consistancy we must maintain our composure and our focus and keep the momentum in our favor...and most of all.........dont get to TOO far ahead of our selves....baby steps at a time.

lets not get TOO ahead of ourselves here now lol...they were in first place last season a few times and fallen back..whether it was player ego or the team was "getting too big for their britches".......we dont want this to end. and so keeping a calm, determined mindset is crucial. they can celebrate their first place right now, in the comfort of their own Homes. but when they're out on the field, all minds should be on one thing and one thing only.....Baseball and total concentration is needed to win more games.

I'll shorten this for anyone too lazy to read the whole thing (myself included):

The Orioles have broken our hearts in the past and will continure to do so for the end of time.

Well after a start at 4-1 so far, he may be right... the orioles just have to keep it up.

Tsk! Tsk! Tsk! How many times have our O's started out well just to break our hearts mid season. If we are still playing well come July, I'll be happy.

after last nights double header loss....it brings everyone back down to the cold reality.....just because your winning, doesnt mean your invincable and able to do anything.......6 game wininng streak was nice and all but everyone has to keep their cool and kepp their head about them and focused on the game, not "wow....we're on a 6 game wininng streak....we're un beat-able".......thats the wrong approach...keeping your head about you, keeps you in reality and out of the trouble that often ensues after a good performance........Consistancy is something to be valued and thus must be respected by any and all.

I don't think anyone thought they were invincible. Law of averages caught up; we'll see where the season goes from here.

3 straight losses. It was fun while it lasted.
