McNabb

McNabb changes the whole mentality in that locker room and bring hope to that team. I always feel like I argue against Eagles fan that talk about how terrible McNabb is and stuff. He is a stud and I could see that Redskins making a playoff run this year.

Well said.

I thought he looked pretty impressive last night. A lot better than their last year guy.

I think alot of unknown players will shine under McNabb's wings. The Redskins O-line did pretty good job at protecting him. McNabb still has some left in his tank and with Mike Shanahan as a coach, the Redskins should at least get a wild card spot in playoff next year.

Let's just put it this way. If J CAMPBELL was still with the skins there would of been more picks, more sacks and that would of been a safety or a pick 6. McNabb is great for the skins. They just need receivers.

That 100+ million they spent for haynesworth doesn't seem worth it as much now huh. I agree that the skins won't be powerful under Snyder. he just throws money at problems and hopes to solve them.

I think that's what Snyder DID. However with Bruce Allen and Shanahan, he actually has a potentially awesome combination of FO and Coaching. He is done throwing money at the problem and got experts to run his team instead.

However,

Boy did he pick a stupid time not to throw money at a problem. GO GET V JAX! lol

I think DMac was having visions of being benched like the last time he played the Ravens.

Ah, memories. Then Kolb threw the Reed pick 6 to end all pick 6's.

I'll believe it when i see it. The reason they can't get Vjax is because all of the money he's spent already on haynesworth and other guys who get big contracts. He doesn't have enough cap room going forward to bring in Vincent Jackson who will demand big money himself.

I'll admit, there have been times when, as an Eagle, Donovan McNabb had me believing that his team had a chance to win the game. Those chances seemed to disappear after Super Bowl 39, with the exception of the 2008 season, but he tried.

Now the change in location, with a team that has Allen as GM and Shanahan as coach. Will Donovan be as good in Washington as he was in Philly? That's what I've been asking myself ever since the trade.

We'll just have to wait and see, friends.

I personally say "No". I think his hay day has come and gone. That said he still is at the beginning of his down slope and still has more than a few years of good play in him. He still is a HUGE shot in the arm for the skins.
