Merged: Cousins Carted Off Field With Possible Concusion

Oneil Cousins carted off field. Ok at this point, the injuries are alittle excessive, whats going on here.

Hopefully this will calm down some of the 'Cousins is better than Gaither' talk.

But in all seriousness, I'm crossing my fingers that Cousins' injury isn't serious.

I think head injuries w/dizzyness/fatigue/light headedness/headache are all instantly assumed to be concussions. It still might not be a concussion. Could just be he is dehydrated or didn't eat enough or something like that. I've had similar symptoms and it wasn't a concussion.

PFT says that the Sun said that it appears to be a concussion.

How close was the Super Bowl win looking before to you? Injuries like this are kind of expected. Let's say he's out for a couple weeks; Gaither's coming back in 3 weeks. I expect both to be ready week one. And that's what is important.

I felt so much better when I heard it was a concussion. Normally when I hear carted off, I think ACL or broken bone.

PFT takes A LOT of liberties when reporting from another source. The source only said he will be checked for a concussion, not that he has one. I hope he's alright and won't be out long term.

usually when you "collide" with someone, then are unable to walk because of a "headache" the headache is in fact a concussion. We'll wait and see if it gets confirmed.

Tony Moll and/or Ramon Harewood on the first team offensive line is just scary. I'm just starting to believe in Cousins and I thought he did well against the Panthers. But if there's anything that's gonna make it hard for Flacco and the passing game to evolve, it's injuries and bad protection.

Stop it. Injuries are a part of the game; there's little a coach can do to prevent them. Would you have the team employ non-contact practices for o-lineman?

Ugh. As soon as we shore up on offensive, the second worst thing that could happen to an offense. Offense line troubles. Hopefully everyone will get up to speed.
