Bradford's shoulder injury was the same that Brees had years ago - Bradford even had it surgically repaired by the same guy. Brees hasn't had a problem since but he wasn't dumped on his a** every play a few months removed from it.
I still don't know why the Rams opted for Rodger Saffold over Charles Brown at the beginning of the second round. Hell, they could've got an extra pick or two and still picked up a better tackle. Could've picked up a receiving tight end for Bradford to check down to every play (Onobun doesn't count).

That's why I'm happy I don't support the Rams. I like to think my team's front office knows football better than I do and if I supported the Rams...It's the stuff of nightmares.
That's the difference in my opinion, too. I know Brees held up fine, but Bradford is in such a poor situation that you have to still wonder if he can take all the hits.

I agree. The Rams organization makes me really appreciate the draft consistency and overall success of the Ravens.

If I had to make a prediction, I would say the Seahawks win 6 games this year with a couple of wins coming against respectable teams.

Who wants to start a "Trade Bulger back to the Rams for a CB" thread?

I'm a Ron Bartell fan. Let's do it!

Right now... BUT if Seahawks trade for Vincent jackson. Then then they automatically become a favorite to win.

Not to me. Hasselbeck has to stay healthy which is a huge 'if' and they have many other issues.

Doubtfully. One of the Seahawks major concerns is health. They struggle to stay healthy as a team. Their offensive line needs help. Their defense needs help.

One star WR isn't the answer to their problems. It'll help.

Watching the 49ers game against the Vikings I would say the 49ers take the lead in winning the division with Seattle a close 2nd and I say close because of a pending VJ trade. Arizona is going to be re-building of sorts, with Kurt Warner gone, Karlos Dansby, Anquan Boldin all gone. The Rams are re-building and Sam Bradford better fake an injury just to let AJ Feely to take the hits because Bradford will bust in St. Louis the way David Carr did with the Texans... NO OLINE! Breakdown of each team:

49ers: Great off-season for them, taking Anthony Davis & Mike Iupati in the first was great moves and watching the game tonight the 49ers showed how great those moves were as Alex Smith had great protection. Getting Taylor Mays in the second was a steal, they will win the division just I have a feeling they will become the Ravens of the West... great defense going to waste because of limited offense meaning Alex Smith and truly I don't think the 49ers will truly have a great team until someone other than Smith is under center. I hope the 49ers take a QB next year that will be the best for them.

Seattle: Great draft for them, Russell Okung and Earl Thomas are going to be corner stones for them. Okung will help re-build the offensive line and Earl Thomas will do wonders in the secondary. Grabbing Golden Tate was a good move for them as well, and if they can get VJ without mortgaging too much of their future it will be a great move to shore their WR core. Their main issue will be finding a Franchise QB, it will be interesting to see if they try to get Jake Locker next year. 2nd in Division 6-10 without VJ 9-7 with VJ.

Arizona: They finally gave a Head Coach a extension and certainly Wisenhunt deserved it now he gets his rebuilding mode as a coach. Great move to grab one of the best Nose Tackles at 26, Dan Williams to shore up their 3-4 defensive line. Certainly they will be looking to replace Dansby in the middle come next year but they will get through with 7-9 and I say that because of the possibility of winning games with defense.

Rams: Well someone said that Bradford's situation is like Bulger's final years with the Rams, to me it reminds me of the David Carr situation with the Texans. David Carr had so much promise and was going to help the Texans, well the problem is it's hard to win when your QB is on his back. Carr had no protection, it wasn't until Schaub came along where the Texans now have a good offensive line and learned you need to protect your QB. They did draft Roger Saffold, but like someone said they could have traded down, got some extra picks and get Charles Brown, so I guess they are hoping Saffold works out at RT. If they would have took Suh at 1 and took Clausen at 33, they would be ahead of the rebuilding process by at least a 1 maybe 2. Dead Last, but they will move down the draft board but still pick in the top 5.
