Man no one likes Chris Carter. I want him and Keyshawn to hate all day any way. I bet Keyshawn wouldn't call Boldin a bum like he did all our other receivers last year. Such disrespectful ignorance...thank god Sunday NFL Countdown has the likes of Mike Ditka, Tom Jackson, and Chris Berman. If it was just Carter and Johnson, I might have to resort to Fox Sports with Terry Bradshaw .

I really wanted the ravens to draft Shipley, he's one of those players who just performs well when it comes to game time. May not look pretty on the stats, he may not have the fastest 40 time but he simply knows what to do with the ball naturally.

Reminds me of an Austin Collie. He can't really be the spotlight of the offense but he's a major contributor when it counts.

So I would assume the inverse would have to apply as well, that being;
Good performance in preseason would give you a good look at how the team is going to be.

I would have to refer you to the 4-0 preseason Lions of 2008.

My take on preseason performance is very much neutral leaving me no other option than to withhold any judgement on the overall team performance for the upcoming season because there's so many different variables you have to account for if you're looking to make a real judgement on a team. It gets to a point where it's merely a toss up on whether the team is actually bad or good.

So if I were the Bengals, would I be worried that my first stringers aren't looking good? No, not at all.
