wow did anybody watch it? for years the dunk contest hasn't been much to watch (especially when you consider the state the NBA is in right now), but that was one of the best individual performances ever. Dwight Howard was bananas! Totally brought back the life of the dunk contest. The behind the backboard dunk, Superman throwdown, double bounce off the backboard dunk, mini court pluck and dunk all out of this world. I'd like to take a moment of silence for the basketball rim that just got pwned!

that was probably the most creative dunk contest I've ever seen.

Dwight was robbed last year, and this year he was incredible. Although, I actually thought Green had the best dunk of the night, the one where he blew out the candles.

I was kind of dissapointed with Rudy Gay though. That youTube thing was dumb. outside of the AND1 guys, who is going to be able to dunk well enough to win the dunk contest? he should have just tried to think up his own dunk like everybody else.

Yeah, I think the candle dunk was the best as well. But Howard was the best overall.

yeah the Candle Dunk was insane. it should have gotten a 50, but then again you have to watch it in slow motion to really see the degree of difficulty of the dunk.

on another note....i saw someone say he was robbed last year. how about 2 years ago when my man andre iguodala was flat out heisted?! same as this year, it wasn't even close but they gave it to nate robinson....the little guy who needed 17 tries to land his final dunk! i'm still pissed about that!!!

yeah, before it was people doing stuff they could do in games on a fast break, It wasn't really the spectacle it should be.

but that looks like its gonna change now.
