No one talks about Haruki, but this kid is so scrappy and always seems to be around the ball making plays. He got a crucial strip at the goal line on Thursday and had a good game. He is a decent dimeback. While he rarely gets any attention, he was missed very much last year.

Haruki, Zibby, Cary Williams, Gerard, Prince Miller; we have some young players in that secondary, who, with more experience, could become pretty good. They may be overlooked this year, but they will come through for us sometime in the future.

I hope no one gets me wrong on this statement. But when i look at Nakamura, i see a young unpolished Troy P. I know many will hate that cuz troy is a steeler, but Nakamura flys around just like him. He at times comes from what seems like nowhere to make open field tackles. He has decent coverage, he can blitz really well.

I don't wanna put too much on him yet, but i love what i see from Nakamura.

Well, as much as we Ravens' fans despise the Steelers, no one would deny that Troy Polamalu is a great football player. Now, I'm sure the vast majority would say he's no Ed Reed, but it's a good drawn comparison ;). I would love to see Hakuri become that good.

Haruki is another reason why I don't think we need to trade for a veteran corner as all the pundits are implying we need to. I felt bad for him (and our team) when he broke his leg in Cleveland in front of his family who was there to watch him play. We have 5 great to solid safeties on this roster and Haruki is a straight up baller. He has the passion and energy to continue to improve, just look at the Panthers game Thursday. He was all over the field, forcing the fumble at the 1, notching a sack, positive he deflected at least one pass. We are likely going to take 5 safeties onto the 53 man squad, which is gonna help any cornerback deficiencies we may have. Haruki has actually played some as our dime back in the past two years for us and I have a feeling we are gonna see him there a lot this season. he is certainly capable of reading and diagnosing the field and the plays at that spot. If you go back and look at Ed's Kolb pick-six in 08, Haruki is there pointing out the receiver to the rest of the guys that Ed wound up jumping to get the pick. Great attention to the opponent there as a rookie. With two seasons under his belt, he is definitely smarter and a quicker player. I look forward to seeing him and Zbikowski in action this season.

He became one of my favorite Ravens after the open practice at M&T. After practice while signing autographs by the players parking lot, he actually took time to TALK to the fans. He's ruthless in the secondary. I really hope he has a great career as a Raven.
