A Beltway define is a A [b]ring road[/b] is a road that encircles a town or city, so "Battle of the Beltway" is a misnomer since Baltimore has a beltway and DC has a beltway and they are not the same road. That being said lets try to stay on the topic of the football game please.

The second preseason game of the 2010 season is here. It's our Baltimore Ravens vs. our "beltway rivals" The Washington Redskins. Now as a Ravens fan living in Redskins country, obviously I do not like them. I hate the fans who come off of a 4-12 season and still think that their team is better than everyone else. I do however respect the passion that the fans have for their struggling team. Honestly, after watching their preseason and listening to 106.7 The Fan, I think that the Skins are looking pretty good this season. I liked their defense even last year and I believe that the majority of that defense still remains. Their offense has taken a huge leap forward with the addition of Donovan Mcnabb and many many old running backs (Larry Johnson, Willie Parker).




The redskins put aside we all know that this is preseason and we want to see certain things from our beloved team. Here are some of things that I will be looking for tomorrow.

Larry Johnson is a bit old and I don't get how you move from the Chiefs to the skins. Mentioning Willie Parker when you pair him and Portis together it is a lethal combo...

I would love to see a dominating performance all game. And although I like McNabb, I wouldn't mind seeing Suggs drop him once or twice.

I'm expecting a more entertaining second half than the one we saw last week though.

Suggs is a 1st team guy. I don't know how much preseason daylight he is going see.
According to Harb's this is the last game for the 2nd and 3rd guys to show off what talent they have. The next game will be 1st team warm-up conditioning getting ready for the season.
