This year the fans are saying this is not the same Redskins team that everybody is use to watching. With McNabb they are putting up 42 points. Yeah it was against the Bills, but 42 points is more or less 6 td's. Regardless of how much they do they are no more then a good team. We on the other hand are a great team. Our second Unit this weekend is going crush them making them look like a cherry flavored pancake with yellow M&Ms. We don't just reside on the beltway we own the beltway...

It's the second pre-season game. As long as people stay healthy, I could care less who the Ravens are playing.

Would be funny if Doug Dutch had a big game though.

I just wish it was a regular season game so we could humiliate them on national tv again like we did in that 24-10 beating the Ravens put on them back in 08.

I haven't heard many Skin's fans talking much trash about this game, at least not like they were before the first pre-season game last year when the Ravens made them look like a J.V. squad.

I must admit, the Redskins game last night was hilarious. The sad part is that last year, the Bills' passing defense was their greating strength. I know it was only a preseason game, but I think after that kind of punishment last night it's safe to say the Bills are on their way to mediocrity again.

While I agree about the Redskins are looking different and better, lets not get carried away.

McNabb only threw for 1 TD. And was only on the field for two drives. It's not like he was under the helm of a 42 point rout.

Second point, they were playing the Bills. Who many people, including myself, are considered to be the worst team in the league this year. They have absolutely ZERO depth, hence the run on points.

Two of the touchdowns were scored on special teams by an undrafted rookie. Bills special teams coverage sucks.

Lastly, 7 x 7 = 49 not 42!

Just to let people know that this is not the same heavy set McNabb. According to the commentators McNabb has lost a lot of weight since the Philly days and is able run in for the first down.

how was it with the colts? was it even split in maryland bewteen colts and redskins fans.
was the colts getting a lot of media respect? People def respected johnny unitas to my knowledge.

I don't exactly remember how the divisions where setup back then.
I do think that the steelers would have established some sort of rivalry with the Redskins. Pits is not that faraway from the whole geography of the area but then again I could be wrong!

My dad was a huge Colts fan so the Redskins were my NFC team to annoy him, I remember when I was in school staying up to watch a MNF game that was a thriller between the Colts and Redskins, and it ended around 1am promising I would get up for school. I used to take a ton of ribbing around here even after the Colts were gone for wearing my Redskins gear.
The Steelers and the Redskins used to scrimmage and play pre-season games every year for a while and they feel about Steeler fans pretty much the same way we do.
A lot of Colt fans refused to become Redskin fans because Jack Kent Cooke, the previous owner, used the argument that the Redskins were 45 mins away to prevent Baltimore from getting an expansion team.

cool!...but we got them back by stong-holding baseball for years. Orioles fans definetly roam around DC.

but i know one thing for sure...we belong in the AFC east. we suppose to have rivalries with the jets and pats... and they are finally rekindling by the good graces of the football gods.

but the new found steelers rivalry is probably the best b-more has ever had. it's like two gangs going at it in LA during the late 80's for lack of a better analogy.

I've been listening to a lot of Redskins radio and boy! are they taking these preseason games seriously.

Talking about how their offense can light up the Ravens D up. My prideful instincts kick-in, and we have to beat these guys, just to keep the beltway domination up. Hopefully we can do so, barring any injuries.

Yeah I live in RedSkin country and everyone thinks the Redskins are going to have a fantastic year. Every time I disagree it is we beat the Bills with 42 points. Well it was preseason and the Bills didn't play there starters long. Also, our Ravens beat the Panthers (Though Preseason doesn't matter the Panthers are way better then the Bills. So yeah.) So my thoughts are the Redskins got to stop thinking that just because they beat the Bills in the PRESEASON doesn't mean they will have a great year.

One of the things Redskins fans are saying is that Mike Shanahan's track record speaks for it-self my answer is not against the Ravens..
Just our D line will make McNabb wish the backup was playing instead of him...

Im hoping we smash the skins because im so sick of the smack talk from their fans. I had one fan tell me that larry johnson was going to run over ray lewis. Oh yea and another fan said that they would hang up 30 points atleast on us because are secondary is weak.

Saturday cant get here soon enough.
