OriginalUKRaven

Ravens Fan In UK / Europe.

10 posts in this topic

Please don't think me rude as I am not a regular poster on this forum. I did post on the Ravens fans not in Baltimore thread - but it's full of US Ravens fans posting.

I'd be interested in any Europe based fans getting in contact. For those who don't know me. I am a part of the UKRavens - a Ravens fan group that's been around since 2002. We operate from the Ravens 24x7 board - they give us our own area. We did have a few German and Swedish fans in contact a few years ago.

Any UK & Irish fans are particulaly welcome. (check out the top photo on our web-site www.ukravens.co.uk)

I'd be happy to maintain contact with any Ravens fans via this board.

Go Ravens

Good for you. One of our Scots members is over in Baltimore right now. He's going to the Jets game with a couple of the US based UKRavens.

In a couple of weeks one of our Irish members is over for the Browns game. I was supposed to be over too - but have commitments.

Last year all three of us were over(Browns). The year before there were four of us (Raiders).

I think you've chosen a good couple of games to watch.

We had two guys over for yesterday's Browns game. Not sure they were expecting such a close game after the mauling we gave them when I was over last year.

well then, I'm from Europe :), now living in Wales; can't afford to go and watch a game in the States, but do hope Ravens will be chosen to play the London game next year.
I agree the Phins and Falcons games should be good and we'll win them both so will be a trip to remember

Nice to hear from you. The option of a London game will be great. We had made preparations for this year just in case we got a second game. We have hotels lined up for the UKRavens plus those people we knew coming over from the US - mainly 24X7 board members. The plans are on hold until we get the nod.

Newbie here from England, UK! :)

Watching my very first Ravens (first NFL also!) game online. A friend in NC has sparked my interest in NFL and he supports the Ravens...

I'm a huge Nascar fan but now the season is over I need something to watch lol :)

So here I am... can anyone recommend good books/web-sites to help out a newbie?

Tammie :)

As I said previously the UK&Eire Ravesns group have a forum on Ravens24x7 which you'd be most welcome to get involved with. Most of us learned the game by watching, and it does take time. A couple of us played for either University or BACFL teams in the past.
