I think suggs is bound to be back. I think cody should be starting over gregg did anyone see that long run play gregg just got pushed off to the side i seen cody control there center with one hand and make a tackle. Codys awareness needs to improve at the line is the only thing i seen. joe flacco is gonna break out i never really felt that way last year i thought he looked really sharp. I think oher needs to move to right tackle he gave up 2 sacks in one quarter to a guy i have never even heard of get gaither in there and pay da man He is a great young tackle as oher but i think he s a little better. Imagine if you where a top performer at your work but didn't get top pay it gets to a guy.cornerbacks looked ok but steve smith was out and we didn't play a playoff team. GET CODY IN THERE

Oher only gave up one sack the other was allowed by Grubbs. It's just one preseason game, Gaither has given up sacks before too. It's a VERY rash conclusion for you to say Gaither should be on the left side instead of Oher considering he didn't even play in this game due to his health issues. One sack doesn't mean anything and just because you haven't heard of the guy who got past him doesn't mean he can't play. I think Oher is more reliable than Gaither and he has played extremely well so far, better than most tackles in the league. Just let the man play and I think you'll be glad we kept him on the left side.

And I think Cody is the future of this team at NT. But we need Gregg to provide veteran insurance and experience. I think both will get their reps with Cody being eased into the NFL.

Pretty good post. I agree that Oher should be the RT and we were in too much of a hurry to have him make the transition from right to left in the nfl. However, Gaither's status is unclear, but if he does see the field soon, he'd be a better LT than Oher and it would help the O line more especially if he's healthy.

Although it's too early to say Cody should start over Gregg. Cody was a beast last night, but it was only his first game in the league, meaning he still has more to prove.

But I agree on Suggs. He wasn't spectacular last night, but if our front 7 does more of what we did last night, it will only be easier for him to bounce back and get free for some sacks.

And lastly, I agree on Joe also. Watching the game, I got the impression that there is a lot of talent and potential in all areas on offense, and I realized that we surrounded him with a good dose of weapons and other personnel, like Cam and Zorn and even Al Saunders. Now all we need to do is play to our FULL potential when the season rolls around.

I believe it was Tyler Brayton who got past Oher. Brayton is a decent veteran DE, so I wouldn't worry about Oher allowing one sack in the pre-season. Oher is one the left side because he is obviously more dependable than Gaither. Notice Gaither didn't even play last night.

I like Oher on the left side, I was a Gaither fan but I am getting pretty fed up with him. If he can not stay healthy enough to be on the field, he is of no use on the left or right side. Coming to camp at 311 in my opinion tells me he does not want to be here. The days of playing Tackle in the NFL at 311 are long gone. I would love to see him healthy and on the field but at this point I am not holding my breath. Regardless of who is out there 6 sacks is unacceptable. We must improve in that area.

I think the game went pretty well, i was pretty happy with the playing from Zibby, dickson and kody.

Our defense looking good as usual however one thing i did notice were some fairly decent sized runs pulled off that I hope isnt going to happen during the regular season.

other than that over all pretty good, our O line needs to settle in a lil bit though, seeing flacco sacked few times wasnt the best.

One thing to note about that punt return (that either Tirico or Gruden mentioned) is that most of those guys won't be in the NFL in a few weeks. It was still very impressive, though. I like Miller's potential.
