I hope he does. I have him in 3 of my leagues.

That's a drastic improvement though. With the year that he had last year. Realistically do you think he can have a better second year than Flacco did in his second year? I'm not so sure, and Flacco didn't throw 20+ tds last year
I'm confused. Flacco threw for 21 TDs last year.

Honestly, I don't buy into the Mark Sanchez hype, either. For some reason, I just don't like the guy. It's not because he's on the Jets, either.

Haha...that sounds like something I would do. Just beware of TJ.

The good news just keeps on coming for Bucs RB Kareem Huggins: http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/38821596/ns/sports-player_news/

He's been promoted over Derrick Ward as the Bucs' backup RB and with Caddy's long injury history, it wouldn't surprise me if Huggins was starting at some point this season. I've already added in one league and would have in the other if I could decide who to cut.

I DVR'd the Bucs game because I wanted to see the low flying Buc Players, M Williams & Huggins. Haven't got a chance to watch, but it sounds like Kareem had a good day.

Still backing on Cadillac to make some noise this year. But it sounds like I will be handcuffing Huggins instead of Ward. If Ward goes to #3, he won't be there at 53.

The fall of Ward is pretty funny to me. He looked like a Pro Bowler running behind the G-Men's o-line and now, can't beat out Kareem Huggins for a job.

His attitude is poor which is reflected in his play as well. He was moaning and blaming a bad PS game 1 because he was playing behind a poor 2nd team OL. Coach Morris questioned Ward's drive, saying that players have to make the best of whats given to them.

Kareem Huggins sure is.

Yep.

It was tough to part with Early Doucet but after watching Leinart go to work tonight, I don't see any Cardinals WR not named Fitzgerald being productive this year.

I always knew Leinart was going to be a bust. If you can't be a good qb with Boldin and Fitzy, there is no hope for you. Just stick to boozing Leinart

We may have a rookie sleeper here in Bucs WR Mike Williams. Looks like Williams hs surpassed 2nd roundd pick Arrelious Benn on depth chart. Mike has obviously outshined Benn which is sad for Benn, but good for Williams.

 I wonder how long it takes before Derek Anderson is starting.

Why does Brandon Jacobs have to suck? I don't know who to start week one, Jacobs, Cadillac Williams or Hakeem Nicks. I also have Mike Williams which I LOVE!

Are you deciding which one of those guys to plug in your flex spot?

Precisely. NY plays the Panthers and the Bucs play the Browns. Lowrider helped me out a lot but I still could use all the opinions. I'm leaning towards Nicks but Caddy against the Browns could be lights out

I was going to send you a message this afternoon helping you out. I was going to tell you to drop the Dolphins D and pick up Mike Williams. But I didn't think I sent it.....did I? Because I see you dropped the Dolphins D and picked up Mike Williams.

If you did that all on your own, I tip my hat to you. It was a good move. If you are going to be playing matchups on D. There really isn't a need for you to hold onto to two Ds.

Hakeem Nicks if healthy. I'd wait a week or so to see what the Bucs are all about. Cadillac Williams second. If they cut Derrick Ward then starting him might be a better option. I'd wait until Mike Williams does something in a regular season game before considering him an option.

Actually I'd still go with Jacobs. He'll get you the goalline carries, might as well use up his talents before he gets limited due to injury.

Nicks will likely be matched up against Richard Marshall(a good CB but not on Chris Gamble's level).

Caddy against the Brownies is a good match-up but if Freeman can't go because of his thumb, I could see the Cleveland clamping down on the run.

It's a toss-up but I wouldn't decide till the Saturday before or maybe even Sunday morning.

I didn't get your PM, but I just took fantasy advice from the The Scott Garceau(sp?) show. lolz

Mna Josh Morgan really is dissapointing me, i think it is Alex Smith's fault. Im thinking about dropping Morgan for maybe Donnie Avery?

I'd forget about both Morgan and Avery. Morgan has all the physical tools but hasn't been able to put it together and I don't see it happening this year. Him not getting a single target last night says it all.

Avery is being pushed by a number of other average WRs and will likely be catching passes from Bradford. That doesn't make for a useful fantasy season.

Who else is available?

Jerricho Cotchery, Chaz Schilens, Eddie Royal, Demaryius Thomas, Louis Murphy, Justin Gage.

Alot of good TE's on waiver wire. I have Owen daniels and Jermichael Finley, so I was thinking of maybe trading Owen Daniels for an average WR.
Cotchery, Royal and Murphy are the best of that bunch in my opinion. Schilens may need surgery, Thomas is still raw and Gage is just ordinary.

Trading Daniels would be a good move but make sure you at least get a player with upside.

Trading Daniels, wouldn't be bad,I mean there are decent TE's on waiver wire that I could use for the week Finley is on his bye week. Like Greg Olsen, Todd Heap, Ben Watson, Jeremy Shockey, Kevin Boss.

If those guys are on waivers, you should definitely dangle Daniels.

Sidney Rice could need surgery on his hip and be out for half the season. I picked up Benard Berrian in my leagues. Berrian had hamstring problems all last year. Now at full health and without Rice, I'd imagine Berrian coming out into the scene

He's definitely bursting onto the scene as a major sleeper pick right now.

That's what it's starting to look like. Even the Minny Star Tribune is reporting that Surgery is likely.

Load up on Bernard Berrian while you still can.

So what do you all make of Reggie Bush's rushing attempts last PS game.

7 carries for 49 yards & a rushing TD! 0 Catches!

Has Bush transformed into a rushing back? Something he showed glimpses of at the end of 2009.

When healthy Bush has been a valuable threat for the Saints. He has a nose for the endzone, but he can't stay healthy. I've always wanted to draft Bush because of potential but I can never convince myself that he is healthy. Even if he does have a healthy year, to me, its not worth the risk.

Well forget about possible surgery for Rice.

Rice already had surgery apparently! On Monday (yesterday).
My link

Looks like he will miss a portion of the season. The Star Tribune is estimating a half season will be missed.
