Call Of Duty: Black Ops

I was shocked to see that no one had made a thread on this game yet. Anyhow as many of you know Treyarch is coming out with a new Call Of Duty (Black Ops) which will be set in the Vietnam/Cold war era. I am pretty excited about this game. I'm hoping that Treyarch will learn from their own mistakes with World at War and also pay attention to MW2's mistakes as well. They better add Zombies to the game, it would be a huge mistake and let down if they don't.

Anyone else excited for this?

no, not particularly... especially if it's true about Activision wanting to add a subscription fee to the CoD Franchise

One of the new big things that I personally dislike is that kill streaks no longer stack. Meaning you cant get a predator missile get two kills and have a harrier, now you got to get all 7 kills yourself meaning more camping for everyone in the game. Also everything is seemingly customizable as if you notice the gun with the holo sight has a smiley face as his red dot.

Zombies has been confirmed to be making a return with this game. If you buy the special edition of the game it comes with the original Zombie maps from World At War.

Still waiting for Hannah Montana The Movie Game 2. Anyway if Zombies turns out to be stuck in WW2 setting again I won't pick the game up it really isn't that fun tbh. They should make each level set in a different time period with different weapons.

I'm going to be purchasing Black Ops. The character customization intrigues me and there's no point in purchasing Medal of Honor. I have Battlefield Bad Company 2 and that's all Medal of Honor is except no destructible environments and a few added killstreaks. Plus when Battlefield Bad Company 2 Vietnam comes out, more people will be back on Bad Company and that's when I'll go back and check it out.

Excellent game. PC version is so much better with the Dedicated servers and graphics tho.

it very well can be nasty if all ive heard is true.. they gotta somehow control all the noob tubing and quick scoping crap and the numerous cheating that destroyed MW2..

so far it looks good. i help a couple friends run a media lounge and we are doing a midnight release for it.. there are more pre orders for this then there were for halo reach so the anticipation is there. cant wait to check it out..

i love the way they changed up the killstreaks and made it to where ur kills dont carry over through each killstreak

With the way the servers will be set up, it will help alleviate the hacking problem that plagues MW2. I know my clan has bought two (one ranked and one unranked) and we'll be booting anyone who even looks like they're hacking.
