My Fantasy Team: Help Please!?!

So here's the deal: I am in a 10 team league, standard scoring with no PPR. Last year I won the same league, but that was PPR. We had 3 flex positions and also IDP's, so that has to be taken into account for the bench's weakness. I'm also going to list my Dad's team to see who has the better team according to you all. Thanks!!

You obviously have the better team. And yes I would drop Taylor immediately for Donald Brown.

You have good depth (especially if you add Brown). Keep Britt he is worth drafting more than Chambers and Berrian right now.

Everybody on your roster has a chance to put up quality numbers. Overall, good draft. Your Dad's depth is pretty bad. Coles might not post a single stat line all season.

What would you rate both teams on a scale of 1-10??

I would rate yours pretty high for a ten team draft. I'd give it a 9. You have 3 1000+ yard receivers and you have MJD whom could be the best back in football this year. Bush is huge on your bench, he and Smith should become quality point producers.

Also you did well with picking Finley over Celek. Finley has a chance to be a top 3 TE this season. Celek will probably go through some growing pains with Kolb.

Your Dad I would give a 6/7. He drafted two kickers & Coles. That is weighing his team down.

Damn bro. You had pick ten and got MJD and Andre? Must be in a league with n00b$. But either way good drafting. Schaub is a stud, and I think will repeat his performance. Pierre Thomas, Charles, MJD are gold at rb. Thomas gets a lot of red zone carries and since Mike Bell is gone, I think he will get more. Charles is so explosive, and MJD gets all the red zone carries.

Andre, Miles, and Crabtree are gold. I don't think Austin will be as great as people think. He broke out into the scene and surprised people, but now no one will be fooled by him. But as a number two he is money. Crabtree will break out.

Carlson and Finley are solid

Maclin and Michael bush are good sleepers. Bush has a lot of potiential on a Raiders team that a lot of people think will break out.

Your pops is hurting. I think Palmer sucks, I think his arm isn't what it used to be. I don't expect him to get over 3500 yards. I hate beanie and breaston. I just think the Cardinals will be terrible this year. Floyd is a good pick, and I think James Jones could breakout in the scene in Green bay but that might be next year before it happens. But then again I've never played IDP so I don't know how much good defensive players can help a team

I didn't even pick that up. I was thinking to myself like Damn! MJD #10 . But throw in Andre at #11. And there is something obviously not right here.

Are the other members of the league "figments of the imagination?"

No, actually they're not haha. I couldn't believe it either. I thought I was going to have to settle for Shonn Greene and Randy Moss, but alas, they all started taking Qb's in the first round. Chris Johnson went first at least, and Ray Rice went fourth, which is about right. I also almost got Frank Gore, but the Commish, who has been in about 8 fantasy football leagues and even more fantasy baseball/basketball leagues picked him up 2 pick before me. I was actually celebrating a 'Super Fantasy Bowl' win before Preseason actually started when MJD fell that far lol. Last year I had a great Qb and a great WR core, but my Rb's were decent at best. Still won last year though. May do even better this year.

Also, one last question. Do I drop Jerod Mayo or DeMeco Ryans for Paul Posluszny or Rolando McClain?? And do I keep Walter or drop him for Chambers?

lol, nah wouldn't do that when you don't have to. Takes too much work bro! Who wants to do work when its automatic lol?? But in all reality, I would pull up a link and stuff of the Yahoo league, but its a Private, Custom league and I don't think the system will let you in to see that league. It was a church league too.

Na. Keep Walter. Walter or Jacoby Jones will breakout. Chambers has less value than Jones or Walter in my mind. I can't help you with defensive players.

Hold onto Walter until you here who is winning the #2 gig. If it isn't Walter, then consider picking up Chambers. Chambers might do well in a Weis's system.

I would not drop Chester Taylor for Donald Brown. Colts don't run it enough and when they do, DB is still the number 2.

If Forte starts off cold, Chester will get a fair share of carries especially down the stretch. December + Chicago=COld weather football. Lot's of running.

I like the picture in that article. It looks like a bunch of scrubs running onto the field, but then you have the small beast on the left, who is Thomas Jones. Seriously look at him....how can he not get a lot of carries this year?

Carlson may be a surprise player this year in a revamped Seahawks offense with Golden Tate and new blocking TE's behind him to fill that role so Carlson can concentrate on grabbing the passes and running those precise routes he's capable of doing. Hasselbeck also loves to throw to him in the redzone, so he should rack up points for me there.

As for Charles, its kinda dissappointing in a sense. I wish I would've known that Charles wasn't going to start for them. Although, with what he did for them last year when they were anemic at best, the kind of respect the Chiefs are showing the man, I'd be asking for a trade if I were him. He posted some huge numbers, even if he did play decent at best D's.

I'm also gunning for Benson or Mathews in trades at the present to shore up that second RB spot.
