yeah I save after each one then I exit out then come back into the select screen no freezing doing that.Just finished the Nevermore challenge,beating the Vikings 31-30!

The strategy pad is awful.... There isnt enuff time to make adjustments. Plus gameflow seems like a dumbed down version of madden. If I want someones advice ill use the old ask madden feature.

Nope instead they decide that Gameflow will somehow cut your playing time in half from 60 to 30 minutes since apparently we don't have an hour to play Madden. Now Instead of the whole cutting playing time in half, EA should have been smart to bring back In Game Save, so that instead of dumbing down the game for those who don't have time, the ones who don't have time can just save in the middle of the game and come back when they have time to play again.

Have they released a patch yet that will fix the freezing issues?

The Hitstick is pretty lame in 11. It's like almost impossible to time it right to get a user pick online in OTP as well, they jump like 3 inches off the ground which is sad.

Why is it so hard to put in-game save feature in? They've done it before. They throw thousands of little tweaks at us, but they can't give me the one feature I really want.

Yea, it either makes me remember the games we lost (i.e. the Bengals game) or makes me pissed that we didnt win certain games (i.e. Colts and Vikings)

The game does seem a little too easy. I'm dropping like 50 pts a game on All-Pro. I guess I'll have to get All Madden a shot.

Got mine midnight after work on monday the gamestop on washington blvd had a cook-out/ midnight release, was like 300-400 people out there. Been getting my franchise on since i got off work monday night. Actually liking this they did'nt do much and gameflow is garbage but it's still solid.

The Strategy Pad will also take some getting used to. Honestly I don't know why they changed the way you have to audible everything. What was so hard about using R1 for linebacks, L1 for Dline, triangle for the secondary and so on. I think they threw this stupid thing in there to try and keep your mind off the fact they didn't do anything to Franchise/Superstar.

Yes, I stated this and linked the article where EA said it's bringing back the original audible/formation adjustment system. However, it won't be patched until around the time regular season starts in the NFL.

Do it in real game situations not setting it uo so you can get it...thats cheap.

ok Tip for 360 users with the skipping , its not lag from your console if you have a 60hz its lag from not being installed on the console ,
Step 1 load disc
Step 2 clear out 5.3 GB
Step 3 click on the games library tab
step 4 install it will take about 15 mins
step 5 play no more skipping

i was about to post the same thing. you can swat the ball like its nothing but you cant pick the ball or play any real defense. i hate the new running and kicking system.

I hate the new kicking system but love the new running system. Gameflow isn't bad, but it'd probably be better if I had time to actually sit down and determine my favorite plays in each situation. Gameflow for defense is much worse than Gameflow for offense, however; I've found I've had to call my own plays most of the time on defense if I wanted to stop anything.

Once they bring back the old audible and pre-snap system, then I'm good with the controls. Otherwise, the Strategy Pad is still frustrating, even after a couple of games of practice.

i feel like i get sucked into the tackles with the new running system. maybe i just need to play it more.

i agree using gameflow on defense is the worst. on all madden my defense that i call is good while gameflow gives up atleast 1st down everytime.

is anyone else having the injury problem? on the first drive of my franchise flacco went out for the season.

i keep trying to download the online thing but it kept telling me the system was to busy so i havent been able to go online outside of the 7 day free trail. not going to lie either im not the best madden player just have fun with the franchise mode.

ok guys Defense needs adjusting

you can readjust it yourself taking time each game to make a game plan ,
currently ngata and pryce are at 10 sacks and webb has 5 plus gregg is eating people alive , think I saw the other team with pitch forks and torches. any how I am still adjusting but am 11-0 on default settings

Really dissapointed in this game. I'm a pretty avid madden player, and this game is a downgrade from 10. Defense is absolutely non existant. Calvin Johnson just got 400 yards receiving, and i played Benson and he got 250 yards because the guy ran it every down. Locomotion only makes the fast players faster. I'm actually 8-2 online, and I won my gamestops pre-release tourney with it, but I still find this game to be the most unrealistic one since '08. Gameflow is a terrible idea because their playcall choices are that of a 12 year old, not to mention most people dont even use it.

I may be using gameplay sliders for the first time ever this year because I'm not liking the balance at all now. I've played over a handful of games and there's more things I dislike than like thus far.

The commentary's improved, the graphics and presentation are improved, and there's certain gameplay enhancements that are good, but otherwise, it's probably not enough to justify a $60 purchase. Glad that I technically only paid $20 for it after the games I traded in; all of the games were purchased "free" after all the video game credits I accumulated from Amazon, so they were of no real consequence to me.

I've lost waaaay too many games on the last play in this one. Plus, they still have that "magnet effect:" If I'm running, I'm sucked into the tackler. If I'm the tackler I get sucked right into the blocker.

Everything except the gameplay itself is improved. I love Gus Johnson. Graphics are better, and the overall experience is better, but I feel like Madden took steps to make it more fun for the casual madden player, not the people who get it every year and play in tourneys like myself.
