Cam needs to see a copy of this game Haha but dude that is sick

Hahaha! Thanks man.. I was pumped. The thing with Madden is that no matter how much I'm up by, I still like to put on the points. I've had so many crazy things happen like fumbles and CPU picks where someone can just get back into it. I really could care less about the other person on the sticks

I uploaded the pictures in case anyone whose to lazy to search for it through the article.

Hey that's neat. I don't really use any of those plays except the occasional Cover 3 Press, Safety Blitz, or 2 man under on defense but those are nice stats. I figured Cover 3s and 2s were the top used plays.

Guilty, lol. Especially on double x. That's all day when you play the likes of DeSean Jackson or Andre Johnson just based off of pure speed alone

Lol, I find the LB Contain to be a more effective play when playing the deep ball since it's 4 deep but if you believe that they're going over the middle, bad play to use.

Looks like I need to use 2 deep zone more on the defensive side. Like the chart the play I use the most on the defensive side is 2 man under, it's funny how Four Verts is so high on the list for offense, so easy to defend if you use the MLB or FS.

The Deep ball is too easy to defend especially if you know that's where they're going.

They need to make statistics on the most used Madden teams and most used playbooks.

ok so i was playing my friend the other day, and idk if this has happened to anyone else, but we went into OT tied at 14. i ended up scoring a TD and won obviously, final score being 20-14. well when it went into the box score, it showed the final score being 26-14. is this some kind of glitch going on?

Got swept by the Ravens. ;-(

First game was simmed and their record sucks.

Second game I played (MNF) and at the half I had -1 total yards of offense. Took the lead with 1 minute to go (I scored a pick six and one decent drive in the 3rd qtr. FG took the lead). They score a miraculous TD and give me the ball back with 29 seconds and time outs to work with. It was raining so I had about 15 dropped passes. My WR FINALLY caught it (snapped with 6 seconds left - Threw a bomb) but was tackled at the 8 - Game Over.

You playing on All Madden Wardy? Those miraculous TD's seem to happen often at horrible times on All Madden.

Kind of. My sliders are minimal 14 and up. So a little bit of all madden and a little all pro.

You know what it was? I got a very rare shut out the week before (24-0) against the Titans. The next game after a shutout is very difficult to win.

I was bummed too because that WR (O.Lewis) that I mentioned is 975 yards from 10,000 career receiving and 6 TD's from 100 career TD's. He had most of the drops, and I had to bench him. lol

What playbooks do all you guys use? I did use the Ravens offensive playbook because I knew it so well but the Falcons is so much more diverse for the passing game while still having an abundance of run plays.

So my favorite playbooks would have to be Atlanta for offense and Pittsburgh for defense.

Sliders at 14!?!?! How does it affect the game having them that low?

Do you guys have any realistic sliders set up. I have been playing on all pro since madden 10 (Ive heard it said all pro is the most realistic difficulty level), and after I got madden 11 I have been blowing teams out of the water. The last time I played the steelers I beat them 82-0, then last night I played the browns and beat them 80-0. I want a challenge, but with all-madden its almost always too difficult to be realistic. Its funny cause in madden 10 I was ok at passing and great at running, now in madden 11 Im great at passing and ok at running.

You must be really far into your franchise then? How many years in are you? I once simmed to like 2030 with the Ravens, which was insanely weird, as all of the real players had retired.

I hate O.Lewis. Dude has zero Release (RLS=54). He's useless in my eyes.

Aaron Scott is my boi (same draft class as O.Lewis). Dude is 99 in 5 categories in his 3rd year. Of course, why wouldn't he be? Derrick Mason is the O-Coordinator.

It's the year 2037.

No release?? His biggest factor is the fact that he WILL get behind the entire secondary. Like I said: less than 10 years he's got 9200+ yards and 96 TD's.

I never heard of A. Scott. Don't think I even scouted him. What year?

West Coast or the Patriots on offensive and the 46 Defense for me.

Steelers. I use game flow on offense, but I have to select the play (from my gameflow playbook) on defense as the CPU doesn't seem to understand that the 3-4 doesn't work against 3 WR's most times.

Just getting behind the secondary isn't Release. That's just pure speed.

Release is getting passed the DB who's pressing him. He can't do that. He gets pressed and held up at the LOS. All timing goes out the window. I can't stand that. I only work with quick excellent route runners. Occasionally, I'll pick up someone with 99 speed from the draft to stretch the field, but he'll be rated mid-70s and in the 4th-5th round or something like that.

Also, my bad... A.Scott isn't in the same draft as O.Lewis. He's in the "Chris Robinson draft" according to GameFAQs. (ever since you guys showed me that draft guide link, i've been addicted...)

Somehow, my Franchise got pushed back all the way to my first season. I was only a few years in, but I had a pretty explosive offense so I'm bummed about that. I did have quite an exciting game against the Colts in the AFC Championship. I was down 10-0, scored a TD right before halftime. The Colts scored late in the 3rd to make it 17-7. I kick a FG halfway through the 4th, get the ball back, and tie the game. I got the ball again but didn't complete the hail mary as time expired. I win the toss in OT, march down the field but stall in the red zone. I kick the FG to go up 20-17. Manning throws four straight incompletions and that was that. He's so awful in big games.

I have a receiver called Jordin Vargo, and his release is unbelievable. He goes up to 97 ovr, and I can just toss the ball at him more or less 10 times a game and he makes most of the catches. His only downfall is his height (5'9") everything else is ridiculous.

I also have another trick which works for the Franchise mode draft:

If there's a guy who's rated highly, eg. Top 10, and your pick is late in the round, you can trade your first round pick for the number 1 overall pick in a straight swap. Just one first round pick for another. The only thing being, you have to turn off the trade deadline if you want it to be infallible. And you MUST do it after week 17 and before the wild card game.

Also, you can get another team's first round pick by trade. You can trade your second and third (and usually another little incentive) for the 1st round pick of the team that owns the second overall. They're often quite picky with it though being as you're offering them less.

[The way to show draft pick order is to just simply view the standings after week 17, that's exactly how it works out]

I also use Atlanta's playbook. Not sure if you played last year's Madden, but the Falcons' PB is basically like last year's Run 'N' Gun albeit, slightly modified. In any case, like you said, it's got a diverse selection of passing plays especially in the Shotgun and still has a lot to choose from in the run game. I will also occasionally use Pass Balanced and New Orleans to switch it up against people I play against constantly in my Online Franchise. I'm not a big fan of the run plays that either of those playbooks has, but they got some pretty good passing attacks.

I use Baltimore for my defense almost all of the time. I've used Multiple D and some other random D's, but have never really felt the need to switch. It does what I want it to usually and it's got some great variety in the formations.

There's a big difference between being difficult and "cheap", which is exactly what this year's Madden is on All-Madden (at least for the offline franchise). Offensively, it's not too bad even with defenders constantly getting in the backfield. It's definitely tough, but it's do-able as long as you get the ball out quick. Defense on All-Madden though is a joke. Don't believe me? Wait until you start seeing EVERY player on the offense that has the ball whether it's the RB, WR's, or even the QB himself, break out of sure tackles. I've even tried putting the slider for broken tackles all the way down, only to get the same result. It's absolutely ridiculous...

All-Pro is definitely the most realistic difficulty in terms of it's not going to throw as much "cheap" stuff at you, but it's also way too easy if you're a Madden vet and/or have gotten used to it. I play in a few Online Franchises on All-Madden which might be slightly harder than All-Pro for the Offline, but it basically feels like All-Pro and I usually put up anywhere from 80 to 100+ points on the computer while only giving up maybe a TD or two a game. It's basically just practice for whenever I end up playing a human-controlled team.

Can't recall how often I'd had that issue with him, but some of my other guys have suffered being jammed pretty good. Release is never on the draft report though unfortunately.

lol. Nah, I like the competition. Even with my settings about as fair as I can get them, I've managed to field the best defense ever this year. How many points did the 2000 Ravens allow overall? I want to see if I'm on track.

That's 165 points in the regular season and 23 in the playoffs for a total of 188 points.
