I still do it, in fact that is typically my game plan. Give the ball to my starting back at least 20 times and keep my QB passing attempts at 25 or under, and play hard nose defense. I am a true Franchise Guy and I hate that EA has ignored Franchise and hasn't made any improvements on it since the PS2 days, but I still work with what I was given. I build through the draft, and the first positions I'm always looking at is the Trench Positions, meaning either drafting a OL or DL. Whether it's drafting a rookie Offensive tackle to start right off the bat because the team don't have a RT or LT, or taking a RT/LT to groom him for a year or two if I know a guy is old, the contract is up and I know he won't be worth paying anymore or taking a DL to groom him to replace a aging vet or drafting them to start right away.

I always look at the trench positions first so that I can get to the QB, Protect The QB and open up holes on the offensive line for my RB, I make sure that I'm good at stopping the run and good at running the ball down the CPU's throat and grinding out the clock.

I just pulled the greasiest user pick with Suga on this guy who was using the Cowboys, it was a big play because I was up by 8 and this was 4th and 20 with 2 minutes to go. Ray sure hasn't lost a step in madden, HOW DO YOU UPLOAD HIGHLIGHTS GUYS?

That's how I like to play the game JO, pound the rock, play good defense and minimize mistakes with the QB. I like to use play fakes and if you're not successful running the ball in this game you'll have no chance with the PA.

Too bad you couldn't like save a highlight with the camera focused on a certain player, and the video cuts the the start out, I have him right from the snap with Ray. Covered like white on Rice.

Yeah to be honest that is probably the only time I will draft a young WR, like I'll try to get by with the receivers on the team and get a receiver or two in FA and stick to running the ball. Once I realize the run game don't work, and the current receivers aren't cutting it I always go into the off-season and try to find a receiver to work with so I could be able to pass when the run is stopped. Also same with Corner, I'll try to get by with the current corners if I have a good pass rush but once I start getting beat in the air that's when I'll draft a Corner.

Has anyone realized how in the off-season most coaches don't have a picture and does anyone know if that will be fixed? I have to live with Chan Gailey in my Bills Franchise because I can't figure out for the life of me who the coaches are when I only can see their first Initial and Last Name. It's annoying how in Madden 10 they had coaches pictures for most people yet in Madden 11 barely any coach has pics.

I've always used man defense primarily, switching it up to zone every once in a while to confuse the QB.

I love how I'm playing Cincinnati and apparently Shipley is the best receiver in the game... he's constantly getting behind my secondary nearly every play no matter what the coverage is.

Had a highest scoring game I've ever played in last night with Marc, we put up 112 points. I lost 63-49 and there was almost 1000 total yards on offense in the game. If I could have figured out your 4 wide set earlier I could have had a chance, and if I wasn't -4 in turnovers haha. I think I threw 2 pick 6's and also gave up a special teams TD when Harvin got absolutely demolished and fumbled.

HOW DID YOU GET HEAP TO DO THOSE STUTTER ROUTES, I KEPT BITING ON THEM WHEN I KNEW WHAT WAS COMING UP.

Heap was running a shutter route on that play. That was a crazy game! 62-49, I missed an extra point. I will make a highlight video later.

After Moving Moss to the Vikings on my own, I decided to play the Monday Night Game between Vikings/Jets, I was the Vikings. The Jets had the lead most of the game, started out 7 to 7 but they just kept things rolling at one point being up by 3 scores. I made a 4th Quarter come back being down by 2, the score was 14 to 31 Jets. I made a come back getting it to 28 31 under 1 minute left, and found Randy Moss deep down field WIDE OPEN for a huge catch that got me near the end zone and with 8 seconds left, I threw a 3 yard pass to Adrian Peterson to win 35 to 31.

That's the thing, I don't actually own the game, I just been renting the game from Blockbuster every once in a while to build up a few Off-line Franchises. Now amazingly this time around when I rented the game it came with a manual that had a code on it but it was used already, and I was trying to get the latest roster but it won't let me in to do that because I need Online Pass.

My mom told me I'm suppose to get Madden for Christmas or my birthday and considering Christmas is still a couple months away I'll be waiting a while so I just rent to kill time. Plus people on OS haven't uploaded the Week 5 Roster that people can download yet so.... I'm in a bind right now.

OK, you have to pay around $5.00 to activate the online part of the game. This is something new this year with E.A. Sports. When you buy the game you can use the code to activate the online but it will only work on the game system that you used to activate it.

Basically they don't want people who rent or buy second hand using the servers for free when EA doesn't get a cut (EA gets no cut of xbox live subscriptions). You have to buy an online pass if the copy is not yours originally.

Thats the company line, we all know it's really about the $$$$$$$

"Pass Blocking increase was due according to @ProFootbalFocus - "Hochstein didn’t allow a single pressure on 42 chances." @JasonRenner24"

I really don't understand the constant change of player ratings, like really. They miss more than they correct, I mean if they had player ratings how they are playing Jared Allen would be like an 80 and not a 99.
