Football is football...I'll take it!

Heck, I've even been watching the Arena League on occasion on NFL Network. I'm so starved for football, I've even caught some CFL games when they've been on TV. Amazing...

Thank God football is back! I think the last few months have been the most boring months of my life. Without football ... I almost feel lost, incomplete and depressed. Does anyone else feel the same way?

So, who do you folks have winning tomorrow?

I'll take the Cowboys by 3.

I'll take the Bengals, even though I'd rather see the Cowboys win. (Never thought I'd say that...)

The Bengals, as I'm predicting, will show flashes of greatness early in the year, but will gradually run out of gas. That's usually what happens to defending division champions, especially in the AFC North.

Its because our Division is tough, hard hitting, and good. You can't take hits from elite players on defense too long. One game can hurt anyone, let alone two games against the same hard hitting teams over and over again. Bengals will do good, I mean, Palmer now has options to throw to besides just Johnson; he has Gresham, Owens, Bryant (when healthy), and Shipley, in addition to Johnson. The Cowboys are equally good. Both have good D's as well. This game will be interesting, especially since it will take place an hour after my fantasy draft begins.

Rarely have we seen an AFC North battle where at least one team didn't have a player leave the game for whatever reason. I can't say I've seen the same happen with such frequency the NFC East game or any other heated division.

Every year, for the past 5 years from May until August.

I fear a big time injury will happen tonight, hopefully I'm wrong.

Bengals by 7.

Is the game tonight or tomorrow?

Well we can hope there is no big time injuries but the way Training Camp has been I wouldn't be surprised to see injuries carry over to the Pre-Season.

I say Cowboys by 10.

Tomorrow night, 8pm on NBC.

The Hall of Fame ceremony itself is today, however.

The first Bengals pass completion will be Carson Palmer to Terrell Owens. I feel it now.
[/quote]

Are you sure you don't mean attempt? Completion would mean that Owens doesn't drop the ball. Which has good odds of occurring.

Let me propose this question, who has better chances of scoring a TD, TO or Dez Bryant?

Bryant's out with an injury, right?

I think the Bengals might force the ball to Owens, showcase him a little. We know, even for a preseason game, TO will be motivated - his new team against his old team under the eye of his mentor, Jerry Rice.

Well the HOF ceremony is over and now we can look forward to the HOF Game. Watching the HOF ceremony was cool, seeing the emotions of all the players as they were giving their speech. Now as much as we all hate the Steelers, you have to admit that it was very classy for them to break camp, ride out to Canton to be there for Dick LeBeau. Now question, how many of you who watched the ceremony are planning to go when Ray gets inducted?

I'm just so glad Football is near and that everything kicks off later tonight. It may be the Bengals and Cowboys, but it's football and we get to see if the Bengals passing attack will really be what it's all made out to be now that they have TO in the mix to go along with Ocho and Bryant.

Yeah I mean you know it will be a while for Ray since he'll be playing for a long time so JO may be the first Raven into the HOF, but I thought it would be cool to see both JO and Ray go into the HOF together.

I guess this Gamers vs. Famers is not live since Owens is coaching.

Who is Menounds? She's pretty fine.

This has to be arguably the most stacked Hall of Fame class in recent memory. Granted, every Hall of Fame class is special because they're all pioneers of the game, but this one probably had the biggest names thus far. Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith alone would've made the class special, but John Randle, Dick LeBeau as both a player and coach, Floyd Little, Rickey Jackson, and Russ Grimm are all phenomenally huge names in their own right.

So many championships and individual honors among those guys alone, almost enough to define half a team's career.

Maria Menounos is a former host for Entertainment Tonight on MTV (basically a poor man's version of E:T in syndication, which was pretty bad in itself) and has also dabbled in acting and modeling. She's a huge WWE fan and even got to live her dream of wrestling a match when she guest-hosted Monday Night Raw. So yes, I'm a fan of hers.

And Stacy Keibler, too. Part of me sometimes wishes she never quit being a Baltimore Ravens cheerleader. And I still wish she never quit WWE. *sigh*

Next year is pretty good too.

Marshall Faulk, Deion Sanders, Curtis Martin and *cough* Jerome Bettis.

I like the fact that players that I watched when I was younger are finally getting inducted into the hall of fame. Or maybe I shouldn't like it, cause it means I'm getting old fast.
