I'm just shooting for 1000 all purpose yards from him as he will get touches in the passing game as well. 1000 rushing yards would be money. Also with Kolb at the helm I don't think the Eagles will have a deep passing attack this year but more of an efficient air attack, which I think will result in them running more.

I am set at RB though as Mendy will get his touches and Addai will get his TD's. I'm very happy with my RB's just don't dig my Wideouts that much.

1000 all purpose yards is very reasonable. Personally I think Kolb might be better in the deep passing attack. In the two games Kolb first started, he threw for more yards in those two games than anyone else has in their first two starts. Kolb can throw the long ball and with Jackson and J Mac and Celek they will still be a great passing team. And with Andy Reid, he will still want to throw the ball. Just my opinion.

Either way I'm rooting for the Eagles to do good this year because I have Kolb, Maclin AND McCoy. The comp had a little crush on the Eagles when the draft was going on.

Should be an interesting league considering all the divisions seem pretty equal and competitive, I'm pumped to get the year going. Everyone seems to have great teams.

Yeah, I tried to balance out the divisions as best I could.

Heres my team

QB: Donavon McNabb, Kyle Orton
- Dont like all that much I got McNabb late and should put up solid numbers but has just a iffy OL, on a new tea, etc. Ortons numbers will decrease from last year with Marshall gone but Mcdaniels knows how to work his system.

WR: Sidney Rice, Anquan Boldin, Santana Moss, Terrell Owens, Chris Chambers, Torry Holt
- Have great depth at WR, hoping Favre is back for Rice, Boldin should have a great year, Moss's numbers should go up with McNabb, Owens should put up near 1000 yard numbers and has some potential to bring his numbers up from last year, Chambers was playing good in KC at the end of the year with Bowe not on great terms on the team. Holt is another guy who i think could produce if Welker isnt fully healed or Moss gets hurt in NE, i think Brady will like to target him.

RB: Frank Gore, Matt Forte, Ben Tate
- I need more depth behind Gore and Forte but they should produce well. Gore if not injured should put up great numbers..huge if though. Forte will more then likely have a better season this year but who knows with Martz there but is a good #2. Ben Tate is for pure potential there and I could see him expoding once given a shot

TE: Heath Miller, Jermaine Gresham
-Miller is a solid player nothing spectacular but will get me solid points and may be targeted more in the passing game with Holmes gone. Gresham is a potential pick with Cincy who I think will put up great fantasy points as a team this year

K: Shayne Graham
-Early prediction on winner of ravens K battle

DST: Cincinnati, Denver
-Love Cincy's D this year, great LBs, probably the most underrated secondary in the league and a good DL and Geathers should be back in full force rushing the passer, Denver as insurance

IDP: Adrian Wilson, Will Smith and DeMeco Ryans (will probably drop Brian Cushing because of suspension and pick up another RB)
like them all and should do well

some more thoughts on my team

Great draft for a 16 team league. Solid starters and depth in both WR & RB. Your QB's could be better, but you might have struck gold with McNabb. That was a good draft you had.

I was thinking the same thing. McNabb won't be amazing but for a 16 team league thats a good one.

I actually really like TO this year. There are a lot of weapons in cincy but he could be a explosive target for them. Overall good team

Well if preseason is any indication of things to come. Owens was targeted 5 times on the opening drive. Seems like Palmer is looking Owens way already.

interesting. I just think its too early to write off TO. He is one of the best, and he just underperformed in Buffalo because everyone underperforms in Buffalo. Buffalo is like the east coast raiders. Except they lost 4 years straight in the Super Bowl. So in a sense they are even worse.

Anyway, I just have this feeling Bryant is going to be a huge bust, and TO is going to be the number two target. Cincy will be tough this year

QB- Tom Brady, Matt Leinart

RB- Jerome Harrison, Thomas Jones, Arian Foster, Tim Hightower, Bernard Scott

WR- Randy Moss, Reggie Wayne, Chad Ochocinco, Demaryius Thomas, James Jones, Loius Murphy

TE- Tony Gonzalez, Bo Scaife

K- Lawrence Tynes

DEF- Miami

DB- Troy Polamalu

DE- Trent Cole

LB- Brian Urlacher

I have ridiculously terrible RB's who all have good upsides, but other than that every position I have is strong. Although my depth really isn't too great.

It's already obvious that Bryant has been pushed out of the picture. Owens and Ocho Cinco are getting a lot of face time together. These are the guys. Now how they hold together will be the key. Ocho Cinco can talk all he wants about playing like a "team". But what if Owens plays so well that it steals Ocho Cinco's thunder. The press will be covering Owens and Ocho will be jealous. What happens then?

Damn bro that is no choke. You suck at rb. Wr your dirty. Trade reggie wayne. Colts players didn't even play during fantasy playoffs last year. Wayne's value is the highest it will be. Or in fact you could wait a few games, then some people will come crawling for your receivers. But you gotta do something about your rbs. Maybe get a shonne greene or ryan matthews

I actually think they will be ok together. They are good friends and I honestly don't think that Ocho is as conceded as everyone thinks he is. Maybe years ago it would be a probably but now that both are at a certain age they are both just trying to win a Super Bowl.

My question for that team is Carson Palmer.

When I hear stuff like that. Just makes me think he isn't what he used to be. Injuries are getting to Palmer. His arm isn't what it used to be. That's what is going to kill the Bengals.

It really wasn't his fault his stat line was so poor, it was his offensive line. Palmer was getting pressured on every pass he made. That is a cause for concern for them. But perhaps it's just that Dallas D-Line is just that good.

Watching that first drive gave me, as a Ravens fan, hope. Because if we can get pressure like Dallas just did, they won't have the opportunity to pick up first downs.

I'm trying to trade for Beanie Wells, I think he will be great value this year and I have a feeling the Colts won't do as good this year, at least not good enough to rest their starters for the last games.

And I'd rather give up Ocho than Wayne personally.

Although it kinda sucks Beanie's owner doesn't seem to be active.

Wells would be a good pick up. You'd probably have to package Ocho to get the trade done. Ocho and Foster perhaps? It might be a stretch.

I hate watching good players sit on inactive teams. Drives me crazy. Especially when somebody becomes a stud in the middle of a season after he was drafted as a middle of the pack guy. But the fantasy owner never changes and lineup and that player sits on the fantasy pine. *vomit*

Yeah thats true. I don't think cincys o line is that good. That's whats really going to kill them in the end. But I really don't think Palmer is that good. Their receivers were much better than Flaccos last year and Flacco had better stats

Haha, I've actually had Ocho and Foster proposed for Wells for a while now, he just hasn't responded.

If I can't get Wells hopefully he gets injured. Having Hightower start wouldn't be too bad with Wells out of the picture.

Yea I thought you could trade Hightower, but if you're picking up Wells you might want to hold onto him.

You could also think about trading Hightower to him (convince him of backup insurance and how Arizona wants to run the ball more). His trade value would be better and perhaps you can upgrade at RB slightly.

My team:

QB: Matt Ryan, Vince Young

- Like Ryan this year, and I had some succes with VY as a flex starter last year, so I'm confident in my back-up... Pretty satisfied with QB situstion

RB: Steven Jackson, Ronnie Brown, Reggie Bush, Clinton Portis, Darren McFadden, Darren Sproles

- Got sort of a boom-or-injury situation going with my rb's. I like their potential and depth, but am very worried about consistency and their injury history... Lots of 3rd down backs, which I love for PPR.

WR: Calvin Johnson, Steve Smith (Giants), Devin Hester, Donnie Avery, DHB, Anthony Gonzales, Donte Stallworth

- I'm very happy about how my WR situation turned out. Love megatron, Steve Smith is a PPR-beast and the rest have the opportunities to turn into solid contributors and/or trade bait.

TE: Jeremy Shockey

- I kind of droppecd the ball on Tight Ends, and had to go with Shockey as people started getting back-up TE's before I got my first... Will be looking for another guy to start, when Shockey goes down with injury :D

K- David Akers

-It's a kicker ;) but I'm counting on Kolb not being able to get the job done in the red zone this year, so Akers will kick 3 or 4 fieldgoals per game ;)

DEF- Didn't pick up a defense yet... Will probably just work the wire during the season, and choose the best match-ups, which is what I like to do if one of the elite defenses aren't there when I pick.

IDP's:

Daniel Manning (tackling machine), Aaron Kampmann, Terrell Suggs (had to do that ;))

In conclusion I thought I had a really good draft, but some guys need to stay healthy, and some guys need to step up... Can't wait to get the season started...

Anyone know if any Fantasy leagues are still open on this forum?
[/quote]

I don't believe there are at the moment. JO_75 might have some spots left.

If not, just stay around here for a little while and some will pop up.
