Took too many punches from Steve Smith?

If Ozzie, Harbs, and Mattison don't want him, I don't either!

Our CB corps is sickening and all the seem to want to do is bring in practice squad level talent.

I wouldn't say our CB corporation is sickening, right now I would just say it is a huge question mark. Who knows maybe some of these young guys will turn into playmakers and it will be come our strongest position. I like how the FO is doing it right now.

Btw I like how the message board is more mobile friendly since my laptop and computer are both down.

I would be in favor of a Rashean Mathis trade. He hasn't hit 30 yet but he can still play at a high level. The only knock on him is his recent injury history.

Additionally, ESPN is reporting that former LSU star Chevis Jackson is rumored to be the odd man out in Atlanta; Jackson's only entering his third year and was a former 3rd-round pick that I had briefly coveted in the 2008 Draft. The knock on Jackson, if I remember correctly from last season, is his awareness, but he has speed for days. He could be worth a look if he's on the chopping block.

could be another Fabe Wash ? Just maybe needs better coaching

Personally i'm glad we didn't cut Walt, when you look around the Ravens locker room there isn't much no correction any veteran experienced players at corner. Foxworth was going to provide that but now he has a surgery on his mind. With all the young corners we have they'll need a past pro bowler like Walt to talk to from time to time...So get healthy Walt and help raise our baby Ravens into young beasts at corner...

Thank the Ravens New Media staff!

They just applied some new updates to the board!

This is bringing back memories of the the Drew Bennet signing of last year. Although Harris isn't retiring, the FO brought in a very old player who won't even see the field in 2010, if at all. Not good! I think the best news about our corners is that they won't have to cover as long as last year since our pass rush should be improved. (slimmer suggs+bigger and more experienced Kruger)

The re-signing of Samari Rolle is comparable as well.

Ahhh! Another Drew Bennett! That was a disappointing signing :ICONATOR_01040da29c18a4eed76047

Not as disappointing (for Bengal fans) as the signing of Antonio Bryant. They sign an injured player to a big contract without knowing?! Now he'll probably start the season on the pup list. Now thats funny. haha

I was furious from day one when they made the trade when they could of gotten kyle wilson, cody or a pass rusher and a TE still easily. Obviously ANY body would be better to bring in then walt harris.. Ken lucas? Maybe we should of gave up basically nothing for cromartie.

There are still a few decent vets out there they are not even working out.

For a (probable) second round pick? That's a high price to pay for a soft CB whose coverage skills have been declining rapidly. Not to mention his various off-the-field issues.

Worth it?

And that was a playoff game, some of the most crucial plays in that game..

Anyways, the organization tried out Lucas, they obviously were not impressed. Even now, they still haven't called him to action. That could change but, for the time being, the Ravens' inaction speaks volumes about Lucas.

Didn't he sign with the Colts?
He did sign with the Colts to back up their young CB squad pretty much.

I still wouldn't mind kicking the tires on Fred Smoot. He always keeps in good shape.
