Sorry about the error on the title! Regular Season Record Predictions*

I've removed one win for every time this has been asked in the last month, so I'm at a record of 1-15 now.

9-7 if our pass rush hasnt improved, since out secondary is worse off than last season...

Pass rush and good DB play weill get us to 11-5

If some of the things we're all hoping for happen, that is: Flacco develops into a very good or elite passer, the secondary doesn't get destroyed, and the team loses it's "refuse to win" habits, I don't think Baltimore will do any better than 12-4. However, I expect their record to be closer to 8-8 with possible (many times probable) losses to Pitt, Cincy, NO, Atl, NY, Houston, and NE.

After last season, I've tempered my expectations.

I think we will go 14 and 2 with losses to the Pats and Saints. Playoffs we will go to the Superbowl and win. I have high hopes this year even with all the injuries we've had. we'll be fine. Gotta keep the positive attitude to make it through the games man. Go Ravens!!!!

I have to agree with you, friend but, I think your being a little optimistic with your record if these things don't improve. I think it will be more like 7-9.

As long as we dont stumble to 9-7 like last year - beating ourselves again and again with ill-discipline and implosions down the stretch of games.

Because of the loss of Foxworth? Washington is back and playing very well apparently. Our offense has gotten drastically better. And what better way to cover up a weakness in the defense than not even let the defense get on the field or score a lot of points.

Not only that Suggs and Barnes have gotten some hype for playing up to a high level in camp. Which is great news for us. And with Jameel McClain at lb, that means we have another good pass rusher at lb. Our pass rush will be much better from last year.

And our d line is definitely better from last year. What is the d line's job? To stop the run. If we stop the run and get a lot of 3rd and longs, that will be extremely tough with the pressure our pass rushers will bring and having Landry, Zibby, and Reed back there.

Plus with the progress of Washington is encouraging to what Webb will be like when he comes back. I saw an interview with Webb and last year was his first year at cb because he was a safety throughout college. So now he is more comfortable at the position.

There is hope my friend. We will miss Foxworth, but we can still be a great team.

Oh I think we would have to have a woeful secondary to fall below .500 this season!

Exactly. The season is not over. Especially how every report out of training camp says such good things about us. No way we have below .500 this year

Seriously 8-8? Do you watch football we have a great team Flacco is emerging great run game improved pass game, leader on D in lewis a naged up secondary would cause 8 losses we are better than that.

These 8-8 and 7-9 predictions are driving me crazy! On paper (and starting to surface in training camp), we have one of the best teams in the league and are poised to do something special this year. With the offseason we had full of the moves we all wanted (well, most), how can people possibly be predecting a season hovering at, or around, .500? Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not saying we're going to be something crazy like 15-1, but 12-4/13-3 is certainly within reason!

Have faith in your team, people!!

Yes, I watch football. I watched this team lose nearly every game against a competent opponent last season (and they will play 9 games against winnig teams this year). I saw an average quarterback, horrific penalties, and a record of 9-7. One less win isn't really that much of stretch, in my opinion.

Once again: IF Flacco does improve, IF the secondary doesn't perform badly, and IF the Ravens figure out how to beat good teams then things should be fine, but I still expect a few losses of course.

I think we're capable of beating every team for the first time that i can remember. Its going to be avoiding the stupid, senseless penalties that took us out of countless games last year. Worst of all, I hear Frank Walker could be coming back. There goes our Super Bowl chances.

Well, when has Flacco had more than one competent target to throw to? Mason was somewhat consistent, Rice doesn't exactly count in my mind as a receiver...obviously. Now we have a solid target in Boldin, solid target in Mason, human lightning bolt Stallworth, and our new guys.

If you were watching our 9-7 season then you saw how close we were to going 12-4 or even 13-3. Minn, NE, Indy, and the first Cinn game were all too close. If you don't think the team has improved enough to overcome one dropped pass, or one missed field goal, or one bad interception, or one dumb penalty, have you been paying attention at all?

Starting with a win in the Jets game, I predict that the Ravens will 11 or 12 games if we escape the injury bug. It is true that we have a tough schedule, but we will be ready for them. I predict that we go to New England and beat them again. Furthermore, we will get over the divisional championship and go all the way to the Super Bowl. Maybe I am drinking the purple koolaid, but I like the mindset of the team this year from the owner to the waterboys. Baltimore Ravens are a winning franchise. This year, we prove it as we did on 1/28/01.

Exactly my point. Clayton drops it at the 5 on 4th down in NE(then we came back and killed them which shows we can basically beat anyone when you beat NE at home like that) Brutal miss by Haushcka for the win(incorrect spelling of his name, not sure how to spell it) dumb penalties, that drop in the endzone in Heinz field by Mason, we could have won 12 or even 13 last year...and btw Cundiff missed one vs Indy that hurt and the Flacco int was very unlucky.

I think the only teams that might be a challenge for us are gonna be steelers (who we've beaten before, so we can win against them), Patriots (same as steelers), and bengals.
MAYBE the saints 2.
i think it will b 12-4 or maybe (if we get lucky) 13-3.
