I know a deal for him would be ridiculously unlikely, but having read this, He has quickly become my favourite charger. It's probably a position he already held, given that I hate the chargers.

But seriously, I can see this guy being the best corner in the league a few years from now. Maybe less.

I like his humbleness too, something rare for a charger.

He seemed more excited about the fact he traded autographed helmets with Willis McGahee and Joseph Addai than his performance.

(^I'm not sure how he managed to trade his helmet to 2 different players, but whatever)

and Ray lewis clearly rates him highly,also note that the last person to pickoff 2 probowl passes was our very own Ed Reed (ooh, coincidence, I THINK NOT!) . So yeah, I'd like him here, more than Asante Samuel or Namdi Asomugha(although I do think He's a really good corner)

He could be available in a few years anyway in FA. He signed in 2006 as a first round pick, so he is probably under contract until 2010 maybe 2011. We could probably pick him up in 2010 because McNair will more than likely be gone as will a few of the older guys which would give us the room to sign him. We dont have the cap room to consider him this season.

he got 10 picks this year and he played mostly as a nickelback. I think he took 2 to the house as well as the longest play in history (109 FG ret) .

I think you have my 'Champ Bailey Syndrome'. I hate him because Alot of people think he's a better DB than Reed, so now I will not acknowledge that he is a good football player and look for ways to belittle his achievements.

I don't know why that didn't happen with Cromartie, maybe because lewis says he's good.

No, It's like comparing an outside linebacker and a middle linebacker, which aren't particularly different, and are comparable.

I kinda agree w/ my boy Davey on this one. CB's & Safety's are similar in that they're all required to do 1v1 or zone coverage, or whatever, but CB's are generally quicker and safety's hit a lot harder cuz they're also supposed to help stop the run a lil more.

six picks is a pretty good season, most DBs in the league didn't get 4 or 5.

a player is based off of his overall play making ability and one to which makes a difference everytime he's out on the football field, he may not always be a "HUGE" factor in the game or its final turnout, but just his presence being in there or out on the field, is something that teammates rally around and feed off of. i think he could be an ideal canaiate to follow up on, but onoy time will tell
