Andre is a steal at 10, but Charles is a reach at 11.

At the same time, Marshall is a steal at 30 but Knowshon (especially with his injury) is a reach at 31.

McCoy is a steal at 50 and Finley at 51 is okay, although I feel you could have gotten someone of the same value in a later round.

Wallace is a little bit of a reach at 70, but Flacco at 71 is a great pick.

Both Marion Barber and McNabb are really good picks where you got them (although you might have been able to wait on McNabb).

i love San Fran D this year, Knox is a decent pick, Schillens is a steal, and Carlson is iffy.

Overall, great draft although you reached with a couple picks you made up for it with great steals and if Charles, Flacco, and Knowshon come up big you can easily win your league.

Once again anytime you get Andre Johnson at an 8+ draft pick, you done good! Marshall and McCoy have decreased value in a non-ppr league. But I still like both of those guys nevertheless.

2 middle of the road QBs. Both with upside. Good job there.

Not to sure about Johnny Knox and Schilens. Both have the opportunity to make some noise, but perhaps there were some better options out there.

McCoy's value is only increased in a ppr, especially considering that DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin are now injured.

Sorry I typed that backwards. I meant that McCoy and Marshall's value decreases in a non-ppr league.

Speaking of which I'm getting pretty sick of coming home at night and finding that one of my guys are carted off the field.

Or even worse, when the quarterback of your 2nd and 3rd receiver retires.
Yea that's worse We'll have to see what happens. I didn't think Favre would be retiring, and I have yet to hear it from his mouth. It sounds like it was a rogue report that went out today.

Yea I was skeptical about the report. Honestly, since QB's don't get hit nearly as much as any other position, and ussually not as hard, Favre would just be plain stupid if he didnt come back for the added money he will be offered (probably about 15 million making this year worth 30 mil) and a chance for the Super Bowl unless he had a REALLY good reason.

As a whole, your team's probably got the best receiver corps you could ask for. QB's are pretty good, and excellent for the positions in which you drafted them. I see Flacco as a consistent performer this year, and McNabb, while kinda inconsistent, is an absolute steal considering where you drafted him. I feel like you're a bit soft at RB (you only have 3, and none of them is a real 'top tier' threat), and that some of your RB picks are reaches. Finley at pick 6 feels like a reach to me, too. Overall, it's a pretty decent team, but one that definitely could use shoring up at the RB spot.

Yeah I felt like I had to reach for a RB at 11 because of the fact that there was no way I'd be able to get an upper-middle tier RB at 30.
I don't think you did nearly as bad with that pick as they're saying. You have to understand, picking with the first or last pick in the rounds are very, very hard and recommended only for veteran players. I feel like you did as well as you could. Charles may break out and have a CJ2k 08 (you know, before last year's monumental success) year. Moreno, if healthy, will have to put up numbers if Broncos want to do anything decent. Your recievers are great. Qb is good, and its made even better with where you got him at. I actually see Finley moving up into the top 3 TE's this year, to tell you the truth. And bench-wise, you have a bunch of good options with McNabb, Barber (if he sees any snaps), Knox, sleeper in Schilens and Carlson. And you did the one thing that makes you win: waited for a Kicker in the last round. Kudos for that! All in all, with where you picked at, I'd give you an 8.5. If you picked in the middle rounds though, I'd expect you to be a better team, but that was a hard draft.

So you think Finley will outperform Clark, Gates, and Davis?
. I watched a lot of San Fran games last year (I'm not really sure why), but Davis was targeted a lot. He'll get a lot of red zone looks. If Alex Smith Progresses with the weapons around him. Davis has the opportunity to put up monster numbers.

I do love Finley as well. But there are a lot of options on the Green Bay Squad. Finley should put up great numbers for the mere fact that Green Bay's offense will put up enough numbers to go around.

I am done on Gates. His feet have bothered him the last few years. He'll attract more attention down the middle with V-Jax out. Free Safeties will be eyeing the big fella. I just get the vibe from him, that he'll struggle with injuries and down production this year.

Not saying you shouldnt have gotten Finley, I'm responding to the guy that said he would be top 3.
I know, I just couldn't help to jump in, because I just wanted to talk about something FF related.

While I'll agree that Finley should not be a top 3 TE draft pick. I do believe that he could very well end up the year as a top 3 TE. I just have little faith in Gates.

I think the top three TEs will be Clark, Davis and Finley.

Way too many option in GB, plus they like to feed it to Grant a lot. I think Finley will be vasty overrated, and I think that Gates might even see double digit TD's this year with LT gone and Jackson out a few games. I also think that Davis will be overrated as well.

The TE's, IMO, will go like this: Clark, Gates and Celek. In that order.

Grant doesn't carry the ball that much and Finley is GB's most talented weapon. What you saw in the play-off game last season was just a sample of what he can do. If he and Rodgers stay healthy, I think Jermichael will definitely deliver in a big way.

Your opinion is rather shallow and pedantic.

But the argument you just used for Finley is the exact same situation that Clark and Gates have been in years. And they've put up monster numbers.

When offenses are very potent with numerous weapons, the talented TE strives. You can't say Gates has been doing it himself all these years. They had a back they used a lot, LT (moreso than Grant).

Without V-Jax and a with a rookie RB, you'll see Gates numbers go down. Just because the amount of quality weapons have decreased. Safeties will play off of Gates more. It'll be tough for Gates to put up huge numbers without the weapons around him. He'll still put up top 5 numbers, but I can see him not being a top 3.

I see it like this: Clark (who can overlook him?? He's like a reciever with his stats); Davis (started to show his talent last year after a talking-to from Coach Singletary); and also Finley (is a monster). If you asked me for Top 5, it would go like this: Clark, Davis, Finley, Gates, and then Celek

I love how Witten is being left out of the TE conversations. In a PPR format he's up there amongst the top 5 after his 1000 yard receiving season.

I don't like the Cowboys, but I'm sticking up for him since I drafted him in ATD's Yahoo league.

Witten's lack of TDs last season and Finley's late emergence have dropped the former down the rankings a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a big year though especially if Felix Jones stays healthy.
