i would never ever trade willis!!! i think it is safe to say that he is a top 10- top 15 running back in this league. and he can du things that the other guys on the team just cannot do!!! he is the best red zone back in the nfl!!! now with 240 he will be even more dangerous. rice is the workhorse and long distance runner, but in todays game you need more than that. so just forget about a trade like that.

in general i think that our secondary is quiet okay. not great but okay. we have depth at corner and still ed reed (hopefully). landry is getting back to greatness and zibby is on a good way to replace reed someday. i am fine with webb, fabian and carr. you still have williams (even he is suspended) and gerrard who can backup those starting guys.
our secondary wasn´t that bad last season. our pass rush sure was. but i think that should be solved as you hear it all around how great it is in camp and stuff. suggs is back to his probowl form and i believe that barnes will have a breakout season this year. and the best is: we still have solid allaround JJ!

so just relax. it is good to be a raven fan at those days. our team is still young and we have great years to come!!!

That is just hilarious.

I'm a Willis lover and think MAYBE he can be top 20, but top 10 is out of the question, top 15 is a possiblity if given the chance to prove it (which he doesn't have assuming Rice doesn't injure himself) and is still unlikely.

And the best red zone rusher. Ever heard of Adrian Peterson, Brandon Jacobs, Steven Jackson, Michael Turner, etc. No way he is better than any of them in the red zone.

So now we have Frank Walker, McClain, and Willis on this topic. Maybe Ed Reed would like to jump in and rant about how the FO should give him more $$$

i see what you got there, but what i meant was: we got 12 touchdowns out of our second running back. more than most of the starters had last year. 90 % of those came out of red zone situations. i know that he may not be top 10 or the best redzone rusher. my point was just that you don´t trade a guy away that stands for pure production!!
it is nice to have rice as the workhorse. but you gotta keep him fresh because if we reach the playoffs i would love to have a rice in a shape like from the patriots game last season. to keep him fresh you have to bring in the second running back. and isn´t it nice that the level of production doesn´t drop if you bring in your second guy! that´s all i wanted to say. most teams in the league would kill for a tandem like ours!!

Like it or not, but it's next man up. Fabian is now #1, Webb is #2, Carr is #3, and out of Travis Fisher, Cary Williams, KJ Gerard, Prince Miller, Doug Dutch, Chris Hawkins, Marcus Paschal, or some other additions we make we will find our #4, #5, and maybe #6.
