Since the Marc Bulger signing, it seemed either Troy Smith or John Beck would be on it's way out.

However, according to Dan Kalko, Jamison Hensley and Aaron Wilson via twitter, John Beck is expected to be traded sometime today.

Via twitter: "Rumors swirling that John Beck will be traded today. Trade isn't finalized yet. I'm told that the trade will definitely get done. Unspecified compensation and team."-Aaron Wilson

Question is, to whom and for what? Many think it will be for another corner, as Harbough said there was interest on other rosters. Maybe it is for an O-lineman.

I suppose Beck would have more immediate trade value, though, given that Troy Smith threw at least one interception and quite a few near-picks in practice today, according to reports.

They have a couple of good ones in DeAngelo Hall, Carlos Rogers; up and comer Justin Tryon; and also depth corner Philip Buchanon.

I wouldn't get your hopes up on anything special coming from this trade. I do like actually getting something for a player that would have most likely gotten released at the end of camp though.

Well I guess that ends that debate about who should go Smith or Beck. Smith will likely remain a Raven. Not bad for a #3 QB.

But it brings up a different question. Why would the Redskins trade for Beck? Did the guy really have trade value?

Can't think of any others and none of those guys would be traded for Beck (at least not if Snyder is still sane, which is questionable). Maybe we will throw in a draft pick?

Or we'll get a late round pick. Either way I'm happy.
