Over the past few days, I have been preparing for the holidays, however I have also been having to deal with a slight medical problem.

All I can say is that I have a problem when I walk - I feel an itching and it's rather farther down in my body. I have also noticed a slight bleeding on occasion, and I am rather concerned.

Fortunately, I have an appointment with the nurse practitioner over at the local family clinic on Thursday at 11:30 AM, and I will keep all of you posted as to what happens.

My appointment with the nurse practitioner went well. It turns out I have a slight infection, and he prescribed a cream to use for this.

Now I won't have to worry about that. Fortunately, I will be getting the prescription filled later today.

Tonight i shall be spending the holidays with some friends I have known since high school, and their families as well. A few members of these families live out in the country, so this should make for some interesting trip out to the country.

We are expecting some snow overnight, and if all goes well, we may have a white holiday here.

The holidays have gone well for me - so far - and I have another appointment coming up on Thursday in regard to anxiety treatment. I will once again inquire in regard to counseling, if possible, and if I find I'm not eligible due to state funding restrictions, then I shall have to live with it.

My appointment in regard to my anxiety went fine, I would say that it did. The doctor in question said he would refer me to be considered for counseling, and if all goes well, I should be able to deal with the problems I have more honestly.

Well, Shawn, to be honest, this thread started because I was feeling rather melancholy concerning a song last summer, whereas another poster believed that I needed some counseling - since then, this thread has gone to what I have been doing over the past few months and years.

I only added the trivia question to liven things up in here.
