Starcraft 2

Game is pretty Epic,

The campaign I find pretty awesome..

and the multiplayer..... well I haven't played it yet as I'm working through the campaign still... but it made the first one popular for over a decade..... It has no choice but to be good (was very fun in the beta though)


gonna have to throw this one in as a GotY candidate imo

if anyone else plays, let me know... will either give you info to add me as a friend, or I'll add you

Edit: Can I get a mod to change it to 2 I thought the roman numerals would have worked

Surprised? this forum is filled with Console Gamers except me and Ferrari and red. not my kind of game, but many of my friends are disappointed.

Im currently playing RE5 and Splinter cell Conviction for PC.

Sorry, Red Dead Redemption and Mass Effect 2 came out this year. Starcraft 2 won't be getting any GOTY awards.

Also, splitting the game up into 3 products means I won't be getting it until they're all in a dirt cheap bundle years from now.

yeah Idk what the ****** was up with that.... but then again it's activision..... the people who want to charge a subscription fee for a fps

very wise, and I probably should have done the same... but it was the game that got me into PC games and what not so...
I don't think I'm gonna buy the protoss and zerg campaigns for an additional $30- $40 a piece at launch

I'm still gonna say it's a candidate (off of hype alone) Mass Effect 2 will walk away with it imo (so far this year)

The Multi-player should be more customisable, allowing you to pick and choose your favourite units from the campaign to give you a sense of individuality online. They actually advertised the next one at the end of the campaign, which made me want to punch an activision employee in the face if I'm totally honest.

Considering it took them around a decade to make it, a lot more thought should've been put into it. It also shouldn't be split up into 3 different games, or there should be downloadable expansions for the Zerg/Protoss for around $10-$15. If it didn't have the title "Starcraft" it would be a pretty major flop, too many problems including the same insufferable A.I.

I also don't like paying all that money for what is, essentially, a CD key.

It could have been GotY worthy, had they spent more than 10 minutes actually thinking it through as opposed to just updating the original Starcraft graphics.

After that rant I've convinced myself I want a refund.

It's CRAZY how serious those south koreans take starcraft. They have tv shows and crowds of thousands just to watch people play this game ha, they even consider it one of there national sports!

I wasn't really into the first SC, it was too small of a scale for me, and SC2 is really just better graphics, new campaign, and a couple new units.
