Madden 11- Super Bowl Celebrations

Hey guys, my friend Rob posted this on his FB and I saw it and watched the videos and I am truly blown away by the major overhaul of the Super Bowl Celebration. We all know they replaced Tom Hammond with Gus Johnson and Gus Johnson shines during the Super Bowl celebrations, there is finally some story telling going on. The teams that are shown are the Saints, Jags and Lions. The story telling is awesome, in the Saints video the first thing Gus says is "Can You Say Repeat" and talks how they won 2 Super Bowls in a row. Previous Maddens never did. In the Lions video, he talks how they haven't won a playoff game since the 50's(I think) and how great of a playoff run they made to win it all, and how it would boost the city of Detroit; in the Jags he talks about how they were questioning whether they had the weapons to get to the playoffs and how there was talk they may not be in Florida.

Also in these videos.... guest appearances made by Roger Goodell and President Obama as your team is shown visiting the white house! I'm hoping they make one for the Ravens.

Ok I'm too excited, just watch for yourself!

wow all negative about something so great. Yeah like someone has it already, the demo hasn't even come out yet. Though I do know Ocho Cinco has a copy I do know that, saw that on his twitter. Your telling me you don't find one thing great about that, that is such a major improvement over the celebrations we have had in the past. Plus why would they post show video of something that is not in the game when so much of it is related to Madden 11, it's not like they are going to show it for Madden 12 and have out dated commentary.

Its already leaked.I will not talk about that here. anyhow, not being negative, just EA has a habbit of showing things in trailers and "gameplay" footage, and it NOT in the game. The E3 trailer had me ecstatic, showing First Person View gameplay, taking notes from NFL 2K5, but no, same old stuff.

actualy that story based commentary in the game is REAL its part of the SBCS they employed taking Realism to the next level

I understand I mean I hate the game flow that they added, continuing to dumb down the game for the casual gamers. I hate everything that EA has done to cater to the casual gamer and leaving hardcore gamers like me with nothing. I mean they have dumbed down Franchise enough where casual games don't have to go through training camp, took our RFA, and other things that made Madden so great. I don't have hope for Madden 11 that much myself, just that I thought it was a very cool video and just the fact those Super Bowl celebrations out done any previous SB celebration we have had in Madden ever.

Yep. That is so great they finally added story based commentary to the game, I mean finally it seems like if you win back to back super bowls they will say it, unlike previous years where it just felt you won 1 super bowl. I just hope that this carries over to the regular season where toward the end of the year, they talk about how you need a win to stay in the playoff picture, or to clinch the top seed, etc.

Politics aside, it's the President; every Super Bowl-winning team meets the President every year. He's in there for the authenticity, not to appease anyone necessarily.

I'm guessing it might be one of the pre-game intros for Superstar Mode, probably for the Super Bowl or something.

In the demo, there is a little description that says along the lines of you can play the Super Bowl whenever you want, and there is a unique celebration for each 32 teams. So it's probably a game mode where you can play the Super Bowl whenever you want. Kinda like in NHL 10 when you can play the Stanley Cup whenever.
