Hopefully I can turn off the Team Fight songs. I cannot stand Big Band music at all. It just drives me crazy everytime I listen to it for more than a minute.

Other than that, it looks decent. Not like last year's at all, but its Ok I guess.

Thunderstruck: great
We Ready: good
Song 2: Average; would be good if I could turn off the vocals lol
Bush: good
Welcome to the Jungle: excellent
Let it Rock: good
Rock and Roll All Nite: good, just get tired of listening to it over and over again
Let Me Hear You Scream: great
Crazy Train: great, but see my description on "Rock and Roll All Nite"
Tick Tick Boom: above average, but hasn't this song been on at least one EA game since 2008?
Bang the Drum: bad; it sounds like 60's music, and it doesn't fit in. Could've been left out
Halftime: good

Rock and Roll part 2: great; it goes good on football games, really any sports game
We Will Rock You: great
Crowd Chant: good
Kernkraft 400: great; like this at sports events
(this all depends, of course, on how well the cover bands did; it'd be hard to imagine them making the song sound better than the original though)

Not even going to get into the Team Fight Songs. See my above post for that.

Awfully short soundtrack. I'm also assuming that the NFL Films themes and the remixes done by Da Riffs will also be in there again, as well, which would make it a larger soundtrack than this setlist. But, I would've still preferred a greater variety of licensed songs. Lots of classics, for sure, but it seems like most of them were included because they're the real stadium songs played during real NFL games for some teams.

Again, would've liked to see more diversity. EA Sports soundtracks used to be a great promotional tool for new music, with Madden 2003-2005's soundtracks serving as a great example of that. But, I think they've just gotten lazy lately and gone with mostly old standards.

actualy the REASON was the Authenticity of the experience , they went realy heavey on the sound adapting stadium sound tracks and the like , now diversity.... yes some stadiums use almost the exact same music although a few songs are team specific case in point for us our big one is from Rise Against we also use In the Air tonight .

The sound track they Paid more money this year then ever to liscense these songs . Personaly I want the Stadium/ Tv Experience one other game I loved tried to do that was the NFL 2k Series by Sega. if all holds true we will see in the demo tomarrow they said its all in there

My only problem with that is having to listen to those same songs in the front-end when you're booting up the game, setting up a game, doing things in Franchise Mode, etc.

I can't tell you how many times I've gotten sick of hearing the same songs after only a couple of weeks in the past few Madden games...and this was with the playlist set to shuffle. I used to love Alice in Chains' "Dem Bones," but now I can't stand it after the number of times I've heard it in Madden 10. Same with Pantera's "Walk."

Yeah that is short but maybe this is a head start to music customization like you see in NCAA 11. The track listing would have to be short to allow space for users to upload their own songs into the game. I just think it would be time to allow users to upload their own songs into the game so hopefully that is in Madden 12.

Needs more MIRACLES!

Seriously though, soundtrack is pretty meh to me this year. Hate AC/DC, Blur, Bush, and The Hives. Ozzy and GnR can not save this sountrack.

So now with an even smaller soundtrack I get to listen to the same songs more frequently? Aren't we all lucky for the mute button.

Needs more rap. Or even a better idea EA: allow us to put our own music in.
[/quote]
If we could put our own music in, not just for stadium sounds but for menu music and the whole she-bang, none of us could really complain about the soundtrack. And maybe EA wouldn't have to spend so much on licensing music. :)

They should've added "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins

Or a Bieber song, just for you
