Romo Ravens

Wes Welker will be back before the season starts. He was just placed on the PUP because it's better to have him there and see what all the other WR's can do, instead of placing him on the field too early so he might hurt himself again. He'll be back in about a month or so.

All this waiver stuff is good. It keeps the league healthy and active. Build your team the way you want it.

Vincent Jackson was traded fo Antonio Bryant. We still need three more votes for the most current trade: Philip Rivers and Brandon Jacobs for Joe Flacco and Fred Jackson.

I don't know why you are so excited. You just gave up a #1 WR on an offensive team for what's looking like a #3 WR that will have to compete for playing time with OchoCinco and Owens.

V-Jax will only be out 3 games. He will be playing then you'll be kicking yourself in the ***. Players rarely hold out.

Antonio Bryant in my eyes is a boardline draftee. Coles was the #2 guy in Cinci last year and it was pathetic.

You guys said he could holdout until week 10. Now you guys are changing your minds. I rather take my chances of getting a WR who I know will play at start of Week 1.

I wasn't one of the ones saying he could hold out until week 10. It is a possibility sure. But if a player wants to get paid in a contract year, he needs to be out on the field. I can't see him holding out.

I tried to help you out. I vetoed the trade, but it still had enough votes to go through.

Don't be to sure. Very important to do your homework.

It was already a slight concern that he was "resting" the knee during offseason work, and Mort's report is cause for further pause. There's reason to believe Bryant's knee could be worse than the Bengals have let on.

So I should release Antonio Bryant?
no no no. Hold onto him now. Just know he comes with baggage.

From now on, before you make any decisions. Look up info on that player at rotoworld.com. Go to rotoworld, type in the player name at search player line. Read up on that player and figure out the background information about that player. Making trades left and right isn't going to make your team better. Take your time. Read up on decisions, try making the right one. A hasty decision is a foolish one

So I would love to get Ricky Williams as Ronnie's backup. What's it going to cost me? Or do you have a special attachment to Ricky.
I like Ricky, but I personally feel like I have talent at every postition, so if it was a good trade i would do it.

P.S My weakest link right now is TE (Winslow).

Wacko, you just screwed your team. If I were you, I would start Portis or Slaton (if he retains the starting job) over Bryant or Morgan.

I think you guys are making something out of nothing. Jackson could very well not even play this season if he's that unhappy. It wouldn't affect his status next year, and he would become a FA. Bryant has had knee problems in the past, but is still a great deep threat. I wouldn't like him as my number one or two, but he would be usable as a number three. It's better to get value for someone who might not play half way into the season, then to have him just sit on the bench and waste a roster spot then be looked at like a total fool once you release him.

The trade was fair.

I understand the trade was fair... but when your team isn't looking too great it is better to take risks on possible #1 standouts than settle for #3 receivers. Especially considering the rumors that Bryant might get cut, and his knee issues.

I don't think his team is that bad. Brady, Rice and Addai are a sold QB-RB 1, 2 and 3. While if Portis has one more fine season with his old coach, he could prove to be a steal. Steve Slaton could also very well go back to first season. Once Holmes comes back from his suspension, and Welker is healthy, he'll have a good team. He's just not starting the people that should be in the startinglineup, but opening day is like two months away.

Don't base your judgements off of what happened last season. The NFL is year to year, anything can happen at any time.

Wacko, just wondering, why are you starting Giants D? The Jets offense isn't that fearsome, Santonio won't be playing, and they lost Thomas Jones and Alan Faneca. Since they are a running team they will have more trouble with us because we are more of a run-based defense.

I personally started Alex Smith over Flacco, because Flacco is facing the hardest passing D in the league, and Alex Smith threw for over 300 yards and 2 TD's last time he was @Seattle. And they are 26th in the league in pass D.

But why would you sit Ravens D?

The guy can moan and groan about being unhappy. But if he wants to get paid, he knows the best way of doing that is to get on the field and perform. I give it a 95% chance that he will be playing come week 4.

It's the exact same case that Boldin had in Arizona. He complained but when it came time to play football...he played football.

Well, fair enough to pass but not fair enough to be a good trade, if that makes sense.

Well I'll just have to reassess your situation in a few weeks. Ain't no way I'm parting with Dallas Clark. I'm treating him like my #1 receiver this year.

I don't know about that. Jackson is immature, you know the issues with the DUI's and all that, while Boldin has always been a humble monster. He could very well be traded as well, which wouldn't bode well for Wacko. But all I'm saying, is that none of this matters once the season starts.

Kind of. haha I'm just going to stick with my team unless I get a trade to upgrade over Jennings. But as a whole, I'm happy with my team.

The best team on paper in the league could very well be the worst team.

In my first year of Fantasy Football, I made all kinds of crazy trades. I think the outcome was:

Drew Brees
Adrian Peterson
LT
Marques Colston
P.B. (before he went to prison)
Antonio Gates
Jay Cutler (we start two QB's)
Ravens D

Mind you, that was in 2008 when AP and LT were the top two picks. I didn't get past the first round of the playoffs. So watch what you say/who you trade for.
