I like that one as well. I can also throw in Sidney Rice. I think both will actually see their numbers decrease with Favre gone. But he's coming back.
Well if Favre leaves, Rice's numbers would decrease for sure (unless you ask some people on this forum who think Sage Rosenfels and Tavaras Jackson can be Franchise qbs.....). I'm not sure about AP. He'd get the ball more, but quality runs may be better than quality runs. And the quality runs would be better with Favre.

I don't even think the Vikings think that either of them are Franchise QB's lol, but mere game managers. When you have Favre who possibly played the best season of his career, defenses can't stack the box as much because of PA. But when you take him out of the equation, neither of those two QB's scare anyone. Then teams will start to see that the Vikes are one-dimensional, stuffing the run as much as possible. I just have an itch that if Favre doesn't come back, AP won't be the consensus number one or number two in Fantasy next year.

Apparently, FlaccoFlicker didn't like my Eli Manning for DeSean Jackson trade lol.
Lol, hell, desperate times call for desperate measures. A Manning for Jackson trade would be looking pretty good to me if Favre stayed retired.

Flacco, if you're reading this. Please look away...

*whistles*

Okay, with McNabb and Henne he should be fine at the quarterback situation if Favre hangs it up. Personally, I think Eli would outperform both of those quarterbacks, though. Also, with Favre's behavior the past two offseasons, you never know if he's really done or pulling more antics on everyone. I can't blame him for not wanting to make a trade just yet, especially mine. Because if Favre stays, he just traded a top WR for no reason.

Alright, you can look again, Flicker.

So that's totally why he should accept my Manning-Jackson trade!

How about for a poll question.

Will Brett Favre stay retired?
I hope so. The love affair with #4 aka "The Choke-artist" has gotten very annoying.

Back too football. Honestly, what are some of your lines/projections for Jamaal Charles this year?
I heard that Haley was hinting towards a RRBC. But sooner or later Thomas Jones will have to hit that wall. I can understand how he has been able to keep on going, the guy is a beast physically. He's always at the training facilities working out. He's in great shape and I expect Jones to steal some of Charles's thunder.

I still haven't jumped on the Charles bandwagon.

I also heard that because Weiss loves fast, homerun hitting RB's, Charles will be in line for a huge year. Some even rank him in the top 5 of RB's. I hope that Jones won't steal goal line touches away from him, even though it's a little unrealistic to think that because like you said, he's physically gifted. Is 1,700 all purpose yards with 14 TD's (run and catch) too much to ask for?

Hey crew.

Can someone here give me some decent insight on Marion Barber? Does anyone think he'll have a productive season?

For some reason I am thinking to place him on the trading block but not sure.

Thanks people.

Luckily for Marion, he'll still get the Lion's share of goalline touches. He is a Beast when he is healthy, but that's a knock on him. His style of running is also not helping.

Felix Jones will steal a lot of touches this year, but good thing for Marion is that Jones is also injury plagued.

Just too many weapons in the passing game as well, It is hard to like him this year.
