San Diego has a soft schedule to start the season out with, think I'll stick with their D/ST for a few weeks or so.

Only thing that really concerns me about McNabb is the talent around him. Cooley is the most talented receiver they have, everyone else is either young and unproven (Devin Thomas, Anthony Armstrong, Roydell Williams), old and declining (Moss, Galloway), and then there's Bobby Wade and Mike Furrey.

Regardless though, McNabb will put up good numbers, maybe not elite numbers... but good numbers.

Another guy to add is Fred Davis. It isn't saying much he's McNabb's 4th best option in my opinion.

Man, I can't wait for Fantasy Football to finally start.

Amen to that. I love that when the Ravens lose, the whole week isn't thrown down the drain because I could have a good fantasy football week. Unless they both lose, then I'm screwed

Agreed. I love watching SNF's highlight show and seeing how my players did. It's even better when you have players playing in the primetime games.

Did you guys know (thanks to PuRock), that McNabb has the easiest schedule fantasy-wise for a QB next season? Someone on that roster has to step up. I'm thinking it's Devin Thomas.

Devin Thomas is probably the favorite on the 'Skins to step up and have a breakout season. Now that Washington has a good quarterback, it's probably a safe bet to say Thomas will have a good season. Wouldn't take a risk drafting him though, still.

I had no choice. I waited way too long, but I like my team in the middle. I think McNabb and Henne will able to hold their own until Ben comes back.

Nah, McNabb is a solid choice, I'm just saying he isn't an elite choice is all. I wouldn't mind having him on my team if I needed a quarterback.

haha Thank god I picked up Devin Thomas off waivers few days ago. :)
I wouldn't get too excited over Thomas just yet. All I'm saying is there's definitely the potential for him to break out this season with McNabb under center. Not saying he's going to for sure.

Here's to Vincent Jackson being traded to Washington!
Why would you say that?

Devin Thomas is more then capable of being the Redskins #1 WR. Plus Im not sure Shanahan wants to deal with yet anotehr trouble player. He already has Haynesworth.

Honestly if Martz system doens't work. Im wont be surprised to see Cutler as a Redskin in 3 years, by then Mcnabb will retire and Cutler's deal with Bears would be up.

Again, I wouldn't say Thomas is "more than capable". He's still very unproven and green, he has the potential but he has to show that he can capitalize on that potential. Until then, Santana Moss and Chris Cooley will get the majority of the looks.

I also wouldn't call Jackson a "Trouble Player", especially not one on the same level as Haynesworth. As long as Jax is happy, he'll go out there and manhandle the opposing secondary all day.

Well then Devin Thomas better be invovled with the trade for Vjax. I hope the Skins send Devin to San Diego. He can be the future #1 guy there and have breakout year there.

I don't see Devin Thomas being involved in a trade for Jackson. He's unproven, which I don't think is what San Diego will be looking for in exchange for Jackson.

I doubt Redskins would give up Santana Moss. Moss would or could arguably be one of the Top 5 best #2 WR's. It'd be smart to keep him, more options for McnNbb.

Im just saying, of he can put on a a good game like that against the soon to be SB champs. I can't imagine how Thomas will be with McNabb as the QB and Trent Williams & Jammal Brown protecting McNabb.

Yeah me either, I mean it would work out for both, as the Chargers get a younger receiver and the Skins get a # 1 for McNabb. Plus I haven't read anything on a VJ Trade to the Redskins... see what you started Romo lol. When I read what Romo wrote about a trade to Washington, I started googling and couldn't find nothing.

The only thing I could find is on NFL.com about how the Skins are still interested in trading for him along with the Seahawks. Here is the article and it is updated as it was published July 30th.

http://dcprosportsreport.com/2010/07/30/nfl-com-redskins-still-interested-in-vincent-jackson/

Now let's remember this, Carson Palmer worked out with TO... a couple weeks later TO is a Bengal. McNabb and Jackson worked out together in Arizona... could Jackson soon be traded? Something to think about and I wonder how it would effect the fantasy value of McNabb and Jackson if Jackson does get traded to Washington.

Just call me Adam Schefter :mcnabbtddance:

Well there were rumors of Vincent Jackson supposedly being on the block, but San Diego actually came out and stated they are not actively shopping him. Buuuuuut if he did, that'd be something to watch out for, and I would be looking at gold with McNabb to start the fantasy season! But it probably will not happen.

Seahawks would be a better choice. TJ Housh is a better #2 then Santana Moss
I disagree. Moss has a better QB throwing to him, more upside and more talent around him. I'm not touching Houshmandzadeh in either of my leagues this year. He's on the decline physically and has little talent surrounding him.

Wes Welker is off the PUP and Knowshon may have torn his ACL.
Interesting. Well if Moreno tore his ACL, he may be done for the season, and does Welker's value go up now that he is off PUP?

Is it just me or is everybody tearing their ACL's this year.

I mean we have 4 corners coming off torn ACL's (or at least some sort of leg injury)

I dont know.
VJax, TJ Housh, Golden Tate, Deion Branch

OR

VJax, Santana, Devin Thomas, Joey Galloway

I feel like Seahawks have a better WR group

Reports are now coming out Moreno tore his hamstring and not his ACL: http://content.usatoday.com/communities/thehuddle/post/2010/08/broncos-fear-knowshon-moreno-may-have-suffered-torn-hamstring-in-practice/1

Regardless, he's off my target list.
