Great Draft guys, looking forward to a fun competitive season! So who's already making trades and looking at the Free Agents to see who they can pick up undrafted and help win the game. The last two 2 years in a yahoo league, I have had 2 great steals in Free Agency with Matt Forte his rookie year and last year it was Ray Rice. The Free Agency list has some interesting players that went undrafted.

Edit: I dropped the Eagles defense like I said I would so the Eagles defense is up for the taking.

Damn, I don't have anyone to talk Fantasy with :(
[/quote]

I'm here Romo I may not respond but that is because I just went through the Free Agency List and typed up some players who are free agents who I may pick up later, or it's my Watch list, to where I'll pick up a player if they start to do well.

I'm surprised that only a few rookies that were drafted were chosen, I mean Dez was a given, and Matthews as well but there are some rookies who may have a big impact on their teams available(not going to say who because if I give out who I'm watching or looking at getting someone may get that player or players.)

I will say I'm surprised nobody took a gamble on Clausen or Bradford even for the backup role. Bradford may have a new toy in TO by tomorrow if all reports are true than I see Bradford or AJ Feeley getting to know TO quite well.

Edit: I did see Garrard was just dropped and I can see why, there are some pretty good QBs available.

I dropped Garrard because I'm high on Alex Smith this year, and the worst case scenario is I use him for the two weeks he plays the Rams. I'm not sure about Garrard because of how MSW looked last year, and MJD, as well as losing Torry Holt.

Is that sarcasm? Wayne is not a bad pick, Garcon is iffy and Lee Evans that might be possible idk. So I guess you do have a right to be mad, just look through Free Agency and try to find a steal with a Receiver who went undrafted, and there are some decent receivers you can add in Free Agency. So don't get too mad you certainly can upgrade your receiving core through FA, but you could do some trades as well if your stacked at one position to try to help someone who needs help at the position your stacked at.

I'm not "mad", just annoyed. Wayne and Garcon are great picks, true. The problem is they're both Colts. My problem with Evans is the complete lack of even a decent quarterback. It won't be too hard to fix, there are "decent" receivers in free agency, but I'll sit on it for a bit.

That's why I went through FA and opened a Word Document and typed of a list of BPA players that went undrafted who I could pick up later in the season via position. I know ESPN has the whole Watch thing where you can watch a player and keep track of him but I prefer to do that secretly so nobody knows who I'm going after. Yeah I think for right now unless a major injury happens to any of my starters, I'm not making any move at all, besides dropping the Eagles defense which I already did, but other than that I don't plan on making any more moves unless an injury happens.

The draft was fun except for wacko scaring the kids.

My BPA worked okay, picked up great depth. Should help me well come playoffs.

PuRock your team has a lot of question marks to me. Turner and Rodgers will carry your team for sure. But Moreno averaged less than 4 yards a carry last year and lost marshall so they will stack the box against the Broncos. Ronnie Brown always gets hurt, Bowe was a huge bust last year. I like Crabtree a lot though, and Clark will be solid unless the colts sit their players during fantasy playoffs again.

Trust me, I'm not exactly happy with my draft. I always seem to draft bad this year when I have picks 8-10. I didn't really want Turner and I hate going QB that early. In the 4th round there weren't any WRs on the board that interested me so I had to snag Dallas Clark early.

Moreno should carry his own. He has added a few pounds of muscle and reports from mini camp are promising (aren't they all). Moreno played most of last year through injury and had a late start to training camp. This time he's healthy, in his second year, better NFL shape and will have a full training camp. Don't sleep on him.

Brown if he can stay on the field can be a solid #1 option. And I have him at a #3 slot.

Bowe should put up consistent numbers (nothing to wow!) but with Charlie Weis in town, his production should improve over prior years.

But I agree a lot of question marks. But there aren't too many "safe" picks this year as opposed to prior years.

It doesn't look like I have a chance at winning this league......because I'm on a bye every week!

Note to Romo Ravens - you need to fix the scheduling.

I agree second year he should be in better shape. And it looks like he gets goalline carries, so Moreno could be alright, but I avoided him at all costs. But over 1000 yards and double digit td's isn't out of the question.

Bowe was money rookie and second year. So if he gets his hands out of his pants and plays some football he will be good. But still that is a question mark to me. Crabtree will be your number one wr imo. He will be money. I wanted him bad but you beat me to it.

I like my team a lot. But I'm relying on some young backs to perform for me. I wasn't happy about shonn greene but I didn't want to pick Ryan Grant as my number one back so Greene was next best option. But I was high on both Greene because of his offensive line and his performance towards the end of the year, and Charles too. Charles played real well towards the end of the year. Then hopefully Ben Tate or Dez can put up for my flex play. Some risks, but thats how fantasy football is. Take educated risks and hope they work out.

I like your team too, you had a good draft. Can't argue with Andre Johnson, Greg Jennings. Solid starting WR core.

I like how you secured handcuffs for both of your second tier RBs.

You do have a lot of speculation going on with your team. Where will Dez Bryant fit into the Cowboys? Will Owens actually sign on a team and be productive? Will Ben Tate win the starting job in Texas and get enough carries to be relevant? Will Gaffney be phased out by D Thomas?

Yeah, I had to make sure I got Thomas Jones and Lt. I almost think Jones could be a decent flex play depending on the matchup. I need Jennings to have a better year than he did last year.

And those are the same questions I have about those players. I got TO and Gaffney with my last two picks so I'm hoping they work out but if they don't, they were my last two picks. Tate and Bryant are what I'm more worried about. But everyone has been talking about Bryant being a stud and he even showed up early to practice. If he has Percy Harvin numbers I will be very happy for a flex play. And Tate I just have a feeling will win out the job. If he gets 20 touches a game or even 15, I think he will be good enough for a flex play.

I think Tate will win the job too. But I think Slayton will see more passing down opportunities. 15 touches a game seems about right.
