Me too, thats why I dropped Garrard and am starting him over Flacco for week 1.

Flacco plays @NYJ, Smith plays @Sea (where he threw for 300+ yards and 2 TDs last year).

McCoy's numbers should vastly improve this season with Westbrook gone, and McCoy seeing the majority of the carries (I don't see Mike Bell being a huge threat to him). Moreno put up good numbers for his rookie year (nearly 1000 yards and 7 touchdowns), and I can only see him improving this year. So by that train of thought, neither of those two men is a bad selection at all, they're just flying under the radar.

Westbrook only played 8 games last year. And Andy Reid doesn't run the ball that much. I just don't see McCoy being that great, maybe I'm wrong.

Moreno is going up against more people in the box because Marshall is gone. I'm not impressed with that Broncos team.

I could be wrong, I'm just not sold on McCoy and Moreno. But its me

Yea ed.s52, Smith against the Seahawks is money. Especially if him and Crabtree are able to get off to a fast start.

Damn there goes Santonio Holmes value...

Rotoworld reporting that the Jets do not trust David Clowney, so they are re-signing Laverneous Coles. So now Holmes, J-Co, Braylon, Coles. That Ball is going to be spread out sooo much!

Not to mention Dustin Keller! I think you'te making too much out of Coles. Holmes will be the same player he was as a Steeler. It's just Mark Sanchez who I don't trust/hate with a passion.

That does affect his value, but you are forgetting Holmes is the only legit deep threat out of those, and he is probably going to be the #1 receiver.

What McCoy will lack in rush touches he'll make up with passing yards. And with a young QB he might see some nice check downs too.

I love McCoy in ppr leagues. This league he does have a lower value.

Don't worry about Coles to much. He was a complete bust last year with the Bengals.

I doubt he even sees the field when Holmes come back.

Coles sucks. Holmes still has good value.

Okay good. phew! Cole will prob. start for the 1st 4 weeks while Holmes is suspended.
[/quote]

He probably still wouldn't start. David Clowney is still probably the third wide receiver that would make Coles number 4

Sorry for getting back to you late PuRock. It's been a busy morning and afternoon for me.

You did what I would have done and for the same reasons anyway so it's all good.

I appreciate the reassurance. I was on the fence about the trade and was looking for some help pushing me one way or another.

I personally think your trade was pure gold PuRock.

If Turner and/or Brown get injured.. you woulda been screwed, but now you have a possibly 1600+ yard back (including passing), and 2 possible 1000 yard receivers, probably a lot more for Megatron.

For Romo, its risky considering both are coming off injury, but it can either be really good or really bad for you (depending on injury).

But it helps both of you turn your weaknesses into strengths.

It was tough giving up Turner even though I don't like him. The reports from mini camp and training camp are good. There are reports of him practically sleeping at the practice facility. He's shedded some weight and he's determined. He'll get all the goal line carries.

Romo can afford the risk because he's stacked at WR and will now have great depth at RB. So it works out well for him.

So as much as I'm not a huge fan of Turner in a non-ppr league he can be very valuable.

Yeah I've read the same thing. Truth is, he probably won't have the same year he did two years ago. Won't get as many carries. But 1400 yards and 12 tds is very reasonable for him

McCoy will have to try from 10 yards out like Pierre Thomas last year with Bell and Weaver lurking as goal-line vultures.

TDs are going to be hard for him to come by. But he should make people miss on check down passes for a few TDs.

It's tempting. I'm in so many leagues. It's not that I'm worried about keeping up with all the leagues. Its moreso that I'm worried about neglecting my life!

Thats the position I'm in. I'm probably going to be in like 5 leagues. And that Pick em challenge. One fantasy team on this forum is enough for me.

Well I think the forum has 4 legit leagues going on right now.

ER20's league
ATD's league
Romo's league
JO_75's league

Imagine if you can claim champion in all 4 leagues!

How victorious of a feeling would that be. You would have bragging rights over basically everyone on the forum.

Messick!!!!!!! I offered you a trade. Look at your fantasy team!!!!!

Where would you all rank Jahvid Best? Just wondering because Yahoo has him in the top 30, and ESPNE has him somewhere past 50

Definitely over 40. The 40's is where like dDallas Clark, Vernon Davis and tight ends are. I say Jahvid Best is best at 57, maybe 59.

I mean he has value because he will get the carries, but the Lions are still bad. So I don't think they will run well. Good flex play at best, depending on the matchup. Depends who is around him. I think I would rather take a Brent Celek or Flacco before Best. It all depends who is around him
