Nervous before the interview. After the interview I was very energetic - hence the gym. But I interviewed with the president of the company and he seemed to like me. I think they'll offer me the job, which would be sweet because it would be like a 20k increase over what I'm making now.

Maybe if I get this job, I'll actually work, rather than wasting my day at work on the Ravens Message Board. That's what happens when a place doesn't motivate you anymore.
Were you energetic because maybe you had anxiety? or did you have like alot of energy drinks before the interview. :P

Not Good. I was having a bad draft. You know one of those ones where you will be targeting someone and the person before you (Romo Ravens often) would take him right before your pick.

Rodgers
M Turner
K Moreno
R Brown
M Crabtree
D Bowe
D Clark

Backups Santana Moss, Micheal Bush, Ahmad Bradshaw, Jeremy Maclin, Cadillac Williams, Malcom Floyd
Not bad but not great either. Other thah Rodgers(obviously), Bush and to a lesser extent Crabtree and Cadillac, I'm not really a fan of any of those guys.

Actually, Turner sucks. He'll get hurt in the first game of the season and won't be able to play until 2012. I think Pu should get value for him now.

Dolphins agreed to terms with DE Charles Grant on a two-year contract.
Grant, 32, lands in a 3-4 defense for the first time of his career. At about 6-foot-3 and 290 pounds, he has plenty of size to play in the scheme. The contract, however, likely isn't guaranteed. Look for Grant to battle Marques Douglas for one roster spot in an attempt to "replace" Phillip Merling.
Does this make Dolphins D/ST better to sign?

Dolphins D was never really bad. They're stout against the run, so this will only help. It depends on the matchup. This is why I love the waiver wire.

No. The best thing to look at with defenses are matchups. Look at whoever is playing the Rams or whoever the bad teams are. Matchups are key with defenses.

Missed Moreno's name; I think he'll have a good season. I'm personally not a fan of Turner. Still, if I have the 5th pick, I wouldn't be afraid to draft him.

It doesn't really make a difference. Grant will be playing in a 3-4 scheme for the first time and has declined the past few seasons.

Either am I. That is why I hate drafting 8-10. My teams always turn out like crap. I thought maybe since this league was 10 people, I might reverse my fortune...but nope.

I am actually high on Moreno this year. He's gain some muscle and he isn't playing through injuries like last year. Brown can play like a #1 back if he can stay healthy.

I don't know why I drafted Rodgers in round 2. He was my BPA there. Drafting a QB early kills one of your positions. In my case it was WR.

It's always about matchups unless you get a top 5 defense that will, no doubt perform.

Like Baltimore, GB, Pittsburgh, or the Jets.

Hence the reason why I drafted him. I got Turner at the 9th pick.

So it'd be smart to sign the Dolphins D/ST when they play a bad offense like the Bills twice a year?

Big 'if' when it comes to Brown's health. Weren't there any good WRs available in the 2nd round?

Yep. Turner with the 9th pick is actually pretty good value.

Now you got the hang of it. The Dolphins Defense against the Bills would be a great start! Especially if the game is in Miami.

The chances of INTs, sacks and even defensive touchdowns are high. Plus the Bills won't be putting up a lot of point either.

I'm starting Arizona defense because they play the Rams week 1. Who knows who will be the starting QB for the Rams. But it won't be pretty.

Then after the Fins play Bills, I can drop them right? or keep them for Ravens D/ST bye?

I cant wait for Ravens to play Bills offense or even Buccaneers offense here in Baltimore, OHH BOY! Mad points! lolz.

I'm sure Wayne, White and Calvin Johnson were out there. But dumb *** me broke one of my drafting rules of drafting a QB early and went with my BPA strategy and drafted Rodgers.

I'm just hoping come next year we are talking about drafting Crabtree in the first two rounds. That'll mean he'll be a solid #1 this year.

Or you can still save yourself and trade for one of those WR's.

Don't hold onto two defenses too long, your better off keeping a sleeper RB/WR on your bench then a backup D. I understand your love affair with the Ravens defense. But they do have a lot of tough matchups this year.

I will never have more than one defense at a time on my team. And throughout the year I'll probably have started 10 different defenses.

I've lost my nerve and gone with BPA when dealing with TEs a few times. Images of Jermichael Finley owning the Vikings and Cardinals last season cloud my mind.

I see Crabtree putting up solid #1 stats this season considering what he did with little preparation last year.
