The only reason why I see them making it is the NFC West is flat out horrible. If you ask me, I think the Cards can go 4-2 in the division and tie records with the Niners. If not the Cards then it would be the Niners. Fitzgerald can make any QB look like a pro. Just throw it in his direction, and if Ed Reed isn't there, he'll catch it.

Oh and I forgot to mention they dealt their starting corner and a 6th rounder to trade up into the 5th round and draft a QB.

But the fact that they swept them last year, when the cardinals were better than now, and niners werent as good, tells me they will get destroyed and if they tie records they would go to the playoffs because the Niners would have a better division record.

In fact, if they won a close Seahawk game this year, they would have been facing the Packers instead of the Cards.

And Fitz will get doubled all season, which he isnt used to doing because of Boldin and Breaston as a #3. The thing that separates Andre Johnson from Fitz is that he hasn't been playing across a Pro Bowl wideout his whole career.

All true and good points. I just haven't been impressed by the 49ers over the years, and until they do something I'm not going to be. You can have a bunch of good players and still miss out on the playoffs (Last year: Steelers, Dolphins).

Yeah Fitzgerald will be doubled all season, but he can still make Leinart look good. Who knows, maybe a new name will show up in AZ and be a star wide-out. Here's my 2010 playoff breakdown:

AFC Wildcard Round:
Texans win over Titans
Dolphins win over Colts

NFC:
Falcons win over Cardinals/49ers
Saints win over Cowboys

AFC Divisional Round:
Ravens win over Texans
Dolphins win over Patriots

NFC:
Falcons win over Packers
Vikings win over Saints

AFC Champ:
Ravens win over Dolphins

NFC:
Falcons win over Vikings *This is also when Favre retires because he missed yet ANOTHER sb.

SB:
Ravens win over Falcons

No offense, but you really didn't plan that out did you?

Just sayin, No one from the Charger's division is there, so I will assume you just freeballed it and you will replace the titans/texans with the chargers or the raiders if you feel daring.

And in an earlier post you said the flacons would beat the packers in the NFC championship game. So you are contradicting yourself.

I will admit though, bold prediction with the Dolphins taking the Colts.

I can see it happening, because the Colts are such a pass rushing team I can see them getting run over by Williams and Brown, although it would definitely be close assuming Henne and Marshall do good next year.

And on a side note, I see Favre in the league 2 more years. Maybe it's just me, but since quarterbacks get hit less than any other position, I think he will wanna take another shot especially if the Vikes have a deep playoff run.

Haha whoops, that was really late and I probably needed sleep.

The only problem I see with Favre lasting more then a year now, is he's recovering slowly. He took an absolute beating in the Playoffs, especially against a blitz-happy defense like the Saints. For me, I see it taking at least another year for the Colts to win the Superbowl. Yes, they are a contender, but I think at this point Manning needs another year with his receivers to really dominate the way he wants to.
