For Those That Missed Out On Demon's League

The title says it all.

Demon has filled his roster and there seems to be a surplus of individuals looking to join a 'Pick Em' League.

I've got the league rules & regulations posted up on my profile page, just leave a comment there if you'd like to join.

The Preseason is open to anyone & everyone with no limit.

That sounds like a challenge. Now we need more leagues.

But the better question will be how many people will give up in each league and never log picks after the first week.

I'm intrigued by the idea of two "competing" leagues. If participation is at least 75% in each, then we could see the start of something great here.

Let's cap it at two "official" (but still unofficial since they're not officially affiliated with the site) leagues and see what happens...

It is.

The attendance could be an issue. Maybe we can do a preseason competition to see who is really dedicated? Of course, that would be more work for Malkavian and Demon...

Worst case scenario, could we just merge the two leagues into one at the half-way point of the season if participation drops significantly?

The format of Malkavians league is completely different though so I don't know how they could merge or compete! It's more of a weekly head to head competition.

I've set mine up based off the same excel sheet I supplied Demon with to do his.

I can post:

Win-Loss Record for individual game picks
Win-Loss Record for weekly game picks
Division Rank
Conference Rank
& League Rank

Either way is fine by me, I'd like to hear feedback from the people in both leagues. Maybe the Mods could add a poll to this existing thread.

Or, if the league doesn't get 32 players; then we'll just go by Demon's scoring method.

-- WHICH WOULD YOU PREFER...
1.) Demon's brand of Pick Em's
2.) Malkavian's brand of Pick Em's
3.) Or both (teams eliminated by/in playoffs would continue to vote)

The question is aimed more at the people interested in joining the second league I've created. I know some (if not all) would prefer Demon's way of scoring; which I have no problem doing.

Demon & I have discussed it, if that is the way people would like to go then I will just tally the votes & submit the results to him each week and he'll combine them.

We've already taken that under advisement; should the numbers fall too low, we'll combine this 2nd league with Demon's league.

In either case (people play, or not); I'll submit everyone's records to Demon and he'll rank them as a whole.
