I've been begging my Uncle to let me use his condo again. The plan is to get one ourselves someday.

How are the beaches since the oil debacle? Please tell me you guys have been unaffected. It's a shame what's happening to our beautiful Gulf Coast.

I'm lucky enough to have an uncle and aunt that live there, and they just happen to be a family of doctors haha. plan on going back to the island to see the Pro Bowl in the future.

There's got to be a market in Florida for tiny weaponry related to bug defense. I'm imagining radio controlled tanks with paintball turrets that shoot pepper spray... Anything to keep those things and the spiders away.

The Uncles condo is in Pass-a-Grille I gather? Nice area. My friends just recently walked away from their mortgage there. The house was worth half of what they borrowed on.

Oil? Not so much. Even the local news has no reports of it on our part of Floridas west coast. Its shut down some fishing here though. I could go on.......

I was spraying around the house the other day and the wasp killer I sprayed near my shed took out a [url="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brown_recluse_spider"]Brown Recluse[/url] . Those things are scary. I cant post the pics here, but check out what its bite can do. Some do so much damage they look like shark bites.

I got to see all those 'bug beware!' videos in the Army. When you go to a new post they'll sometimes show you a short movie/slide show of the critters that will leave a mark. The Brown Recluse and its calling card (necrosis is not your friend) were always on the play list in southern states.

We do the Jersey Shore several times during the summer months and Marco Island, FL during the colder months.
Last year we went to Cancun, Mexico. Loved it there!

Avalon this first time; Cape May the second. Avalon is my favorite. Just a nice town with beautifully groomed beaches.
We go into Wildwood with the kids a couple times during the week. And then get the hell out at night-time when all the crazies pour in! lol

Where did you go in Hawaii? If you went to the Big Island or Oahu= yes.
Maui and Kauai are the epitome of a tropical paradise! And the natives are extremely happy and friendly.

Japan is awesome!!! I had the pleasure of living there for a year and I loved it; the people, the sights, the food. What didn't you like about it?

Went to Wildwood after the prom way back when. We avoid Seaside as locals. We're looking into moving down further south actually as I live about 5 miles from Sandy Hook.
