Madden Ratings Are Out

The madden 11 ratings are out and still ray rice is only a 90. Am i the only one that watched this guy last year? all though i did see that the ravens are only behind the saints and colts in ratings. I do agree I was a little suprised when you saw that. I mean, most will agree he is a top 5 back. Unless Chris Johnson gets a 94 I don't think it was fair.

I cant be happier about the ratings this year, we have been shafted for quite a few years now, 08' was ok but this is awesome. I am a little perterbed about how Fumbilitis Mendenhall is up their with Ray Rice, oh well, cant have everything.

I think we can still kick [i]<butt>[/i] with Stallworth. He'll be the number 4 and they barely cover the Number 4 most times. With his blazing speed put him on a drag route that way he's bound to catch the ball, then pick up some YAC.

TBH Ray Rice is definitely a 94+. He basically carried the team.

Some people are never happy no matter what, if Ray Rice was a 92, it would be why isn't he a 96. The ratings look good to me. The question is how good is your Madden game?

Yup, if you don't have any game than you are starting at a definite disadvantage. Madden isn't a game where you can just pick it up and instantly know everything, there's just so much to know and how many different things you can do.

what piss me off is how the jip us every year, you cant go back and check just about all madden's rosters 09,08,07.

Now I dont know if they are just dieing the ratings down so gamers wont dominated or they just hate us.
There are alot things that madden developers do that is bull. Let me explain.

Ngata 96 rating DE in madden 10- before he was a DT with 93 rating since nagat has reached pro bowl level they refuse to give him a 99 rating so they switch his position (yeah i know ngata also play DE but he is a DT playing DE) so he wont be a 99

Jarret Johnson 82 rating LB in Madden 10- this guy put up alomost the same number Suggs put up last year when he went to the pro bowl. Still he gets an 82 and no pro bowl consideration real life and in the game.

Ray Lewis 94 rating in M10-M11- ray is the best ILB in the game even NFL analysts even think so but he is a 94 rating they put ray down every year sayings hes old only to put it back up to 94.

When they feel like he need to go up he goes down then back up so they wont have him a 98 like when he was young. If you buy a madden strategy guide it say ray is getting old.BULL

Trevor Pryce 83 rating in Madden 11/85 rating in M10/ 93 rating in M09-A guy who gets double team and held without no calls every sunday yet his rating just goes down, i bet every team that plays the ravens know that they have to double pryce

Question:Why would you have to double an old player on the decline?

Answer: Hes not on the decline hes being held every damn play. sounds like someone one who is still in elite category.


Fabian Washington 72 rating in Madden11-yeah he is coming off season-ending injury. Im gonna take it back when fabian first started.

Chris McAlister went down with an injury the next person that was supposed to be Samari Rolle instead fabian washington start as the No.1 CB which lead mean he was guarding either teams No.1 WR or the fastest guy on the team.

leadin me to thin that he is our best corner that year in which he was leading the team in pass deflections. One of the most important stat for a CB besides INt's.

Fab held alot of wideouts in check that year even speed boy Desean jackson.yeah he may let up a TD or two but he be right there with them when they make the catch.

The next year fabian reclaim his starting spot as No.1 in front of Foxworth who is an 82 rating on madden. How can the No.1 CB be rated lower than the No.2 CB.

He went a whole two years without going up once. Now out of two years they think he hasnt had a stretch of good games, when he did?

His madden 08 rating started out 89 then went to 85 then to 83 then they just started to believe that staford rout was just outplaying him so they start to put rout up instead of taking Fab down anymore.

BULL whether ppl know it or not Fab has been playing good until his stretch of bad games this year and even with him givings up big ones he was right there with them so he is like glue its just the QB throwing a pefect ball and the wideout just out jumping him for the ball(fab is a lil guy along with the rest of our corners).

Haruki Nakamura M10 & M11 rating 66/ M09 rating 81-He goes from an 81 to a 66 just by doing what he was doing since he got in the league make plays on ST and play coverage when he crack the line-up.

I read the madden10 articles when they were talking about stretching the ratings out but still alot of players werent touched because they were elite players but when the game dropped Elite players got hrt that year but they went down all except Tom Brady. No why is that.

Bottom Line Madden rips the ratings of the ravens and other hated teams but even after bad games the pats,cowboys and colts just go up and they make excuses for them but if a player perform well for that week or stretch the put up meaningless ratings like the CAR rating for a WR after a game two or three games, they are gonna fumble from time to time any way so why not put up RTE OR CIT ratings?

No im not one of those gamers who needs jacked up rating to win cause i dont, i win with the ravens all the time online. But to get ripped of the real ratings is just wrong when they jack up the cowboys rating after beating teams they are supposed to.

ugh so long..

if you hadn't noticed... we just got boldin... this year.... if you look at his rating..... it looks like it was dropping by 2 every year.... so I don't see anything really wrong there (just following the pattern)

stallworth is a 68 because he didn't play a whole year.... someone who isn't elite is gonna have to prove themselves instead of having the benefit of the doubt

Ngata does play DE for us... Kelly Gregg is our NT in the 3-4, Ngata played NT while Gregg was injured

The comparison of Johnson to Suggs speaks more of the volume to how suggs was out of shape then how Johnson was in it... Johnson is still a rather unknown commodity amongst casual fans

I'm sorry to say but no matter what an NFL analyst says.... Ray Lewis isn't the best ILB in the league.. he may still be one of the best.... but THE best is Patrick Willis so... 94 works

So he gets doubled & held every play.... EA doesn't know this... he is old... still a beast.. but old

as far as Fabian goes... I may be wrong, but I do believe Rolle was the #1 during our 08 campaign (or the majority of it) but as far as last season went.. he and foxworth alternated teh #1 role

Nakamura had season ending injury (i believe) he never really played on defense except for a few times... and he wasn't elite (that we know of) so his rating is justified

idk if you were taking this into account or not.. but in Madden 10 they changed the ratings up.... which lowered alot of players compared to other games... (idk if thats what you meant by stretching) so comparing 09 to 10 the 09 is generally going to be higher; and as far as 11 goes idk if they are going to go even further with the "stretching" which would explain why alot of ratings are low

Yea, EA Sports released a letter apologizing to Ravens fans for not making all the players on the roster in the 90's.

Ray Rice was exceptional last year... if he keeps it up/improves he'll be up there rather quickly
