Ok so a true predator movie has been over 15 yeards since one , now the [url="http://www.predators-movie.com/"]new one[/url] seems to take us to thier world .

I must say reading the comic books as a kid this one should be interensting kiddos . the Yautja homeworld can it be recaptured by hollywood . Can we finaly see thier culture for what it is .

I just can't buy into the premise anymore - the part about humans being able to last on a predator planet with indigenous wildlife. Projectile weapons and swords vs. energy weapons, 9 ft. aliens, and wolverine claws from stealth mode... I hope there is some way for them to depart the planet.

I wish they'd come up with a future-based, genetically enhanced human storyline. Right now it's just stealth+shoot=game over.

Does it have Jesse Ventura and a General Electric XM214 Minigun? If not, its crap. Even Predator II kinda sucked when you think about it. It was a Predator cleaning up the streets of LA for Gods sake. Colors. The only redeeming offshoot was Alien Vs. Predator : Requiem. That movie was no holds barred.

As far as "The scene where a ton of plasma casters illuminate Adrien Brody" , in 'real' life he would have been flesh soup before he even saw two. Blah.

Aliens always win, that way senseless violence still scares the crap out of us.

I've only seen two movies involving the Predators but not everything that got pointed at with a plasma caster died.

I've watched "Predator"(liked it) and "Predators vs. Aliens" but not Requiem. The vs. movies were on FX today and I watched the first one and wanted to watch Requiem but another movie caught my attention.

tell you guys the truth the movies never did the 1970's and 80's comic any due they tried to touch on the Yautja (predators) clan and hunter mentality . they have a deeper social conscience then we think . in the comics they go so far as to hunt thier own if they break the honour code . had the one in part 2 actualy killed the woman who was pregnant or the kid he would be concindered Bad Blood and would be hunted till death. danny glovers charecter was let live cause he had won in combat . and was given the gun as a trophy . the girl in avp 1 was actualy made part of the tribe for her fighting along side them.

Ugh, that one in Antarctica was a disgrace. Ever see Krull? That whole "the walls move and now we're seperated" thing has been done before.

Watch Requiem w/o commercials and in a completely blacked out room. That movie was shot VERY dark (as in lighting) and you can't see whats going on sometimes unless the room you're in is real dark as well.

It, IMHO, is the best one of the Predator movies. Now Aliens...thats the best of them all (if you were to put them all in the same category).

Meh none of the movies have done anything for me since the Original,didnt care to see Requim but maybe ill check it out.This one hasnt enticed me to drop the money done in the theaters so this will probably be a rental when it comes out

ok its not justt brodie , Lawrence Fischburn , Danny Trejo and more its not like he is the only actor in it

I think he's talking specifically about Brodie. He just doesn't look like he kicks much ***, especially a 9 foot armored Predators ***.

I'm aware of that. However, I cannot take the big nosed man from the Pianist and the mentally challenged man from The Village seriously as a bad ***, Predator hunting action hero. Regardless, it's gotten good reviews, so I'll probably see it anyways.

If you enjoy not wasting your money, stay far, far away from Airbender. My friend dragged me to see it last night (he really wanted to see it and no one else was able to go). It was HORRENDOUS. In M. Night Shyamalan's Hit-or-Miss track record with his movies, this was the biggest miss since Unbreakable.

I'll rent it for ****s and giggles.

I actually own Unbreakable, I like that movie and the whole comic hero/villain thing he was doing there . I also own The Happening. I actually dig his work but I've read that Airbender is akin to eating your own eyeballs.

I like his work too. I've seen nearly all of them in the theaters, I even enjoyed The Happening, The Village, and Lady in the Water. They weren't great, but they were decent (the horrible acting in The Happening entertained me). Airbender though... ugh. It wasn't even in 3D for me so I could be distracted from the movie.

Yeah, his stuff is really interesting, just never great. I also read the 3D (in Airbender) was done after the fact so it isnt even that great. Movies need to be planned and filmed in 3D, not done is post.
